Lesser follow-up
Leofwine_draca3 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The follow up to the Category III comedy from Hong Kong and it's a worse outing this time around. Dominic Ho's titular character takes a back seat here; the new naive character is a woman named Monica who's forced into prostitution but has no idea what she's doing. Thus we get interminable scenes of Ho training her in various delicate arts before she makes a transformation towards the end. Less nudity this time around although the subject matter is somehow more explicit too. The ending is even darker than the original's, quite a bloody climax.

More Gigolo and ...

Warning: Spoilers
Well I only tagged the tag, because I will be talking about the ending. I assume you have seen the first movie - though I do not think it is necessary for you to have seen it to be honest. That first one ended on a ... well let's call it a bad note maybe - but we are back and do glow more or less. There is some fun along the way (no pun intended - but satisfaction guranteed - well sort of and to a small degree - nudity is a thing here, though nothing too crazy).

But the ending - I did not see that coming and I will talk about it now. While there was some signs beforehand, I don't think you could see this turn so violent ... really mad to be honest. Not sure if that was necessary - I think it should have ended on a more positive note. But maybe to be able to make a movie like that, they had to give in and make an ending that made the whole thing a moral tale ... I am guessing that it is a sort of a message to kill off the character, to make people see there is no happy ending (not that kind and no pun intended) ...
