My roommate and I watched this show. There was a guy named Tony on the show and he told a story about hanging out in his grandparent's basement and while down there he feels something crunchy under his feet. With every step he was feeling more and more crunching and munching. Like popcorn kernals. And you know what he said they were? Ladybugs. He was stepping on hundreds of ladybugs. He tells this random story out of nowhere in a confessional interview. I about died laughing. The rest of the show was a fake and formulaic relaity show about misguided Christianity...I mean the tagline? No sex, no alcohol, 4 years- it was pretty weird/boring but I watched the whole thing and even payed for it so jokes on me.

Guy doesn't like what his girlfriend does. The comprise is for his girlfriend to not do those things because they'll upset him. That's really all you need to know about this "university" and the people who go there. Hopefully the women will learn to value themselves more, and not just give up the things they like to keep a man happy.
Most of the situations seem set up, and they're performing for the camera instead of real life. They're not particularly interesting either, and the people probably wouldn't choose to interact if it weren't for the show.

I saw a couple episodes of Young Once, and I have to catch up with the episodes which are available on the internet. Anyway, the main couple was Caelan Tiongson and Cassie Randolph, and it Caelan (who I think is Filipino) ended up becoming a professional basketball player, and Cassie Rudolph was a contestant and analyst on The Bachelor.
I'm pleased Young Once was renewed for season two so I have to watch that as well. Perhaps there can be a season three to find out how the lives of the Christians have unfolded, especially in the wake of the pandemic and also the intersection with societal changes.
