- On their shows "Demo Disk" and "Wheelhaus", the cast frequently look up disturbing sexually explicit fan art related to whatever game they're playing as a comedic device. There is little sexual content since the content is blurred in post and the cast seem to pick the most unappealing/disturbing pieces for their shock value and are visibly disgusted with what they see.
- The cast also play poorly made sex games on occasion (with all the objectionable content blurred out) with the same purpose as Mystery Science Theater 3000 would watch a poorly made sexploitation movie.

- Much like other Rooster Teeth channels, Funhaus contains uncensored expletives in almost every video.

- While not promoting or glamorizing drinking, some videos consist of drinking games based around video games.
- Upon the release of the Labo for the Switch, Funhaus had a "weed stream", where they took hits from a THC e-cigarette in between playing minigames. Funhaus is filmed in California,where marijuana is legal, but they by no means glamorized its usage during the video.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Sometimes games designed to be scary are played on the channel. A number of the games are genuinely quite frightening, either utilizing jump scares or atmospheric horror (or both) and the cast's reactions reflect that.
