Must-Watch Movie!
easily-0444629 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Basically, read the only available review and thought for a second to skip this movie.

However, glad that I have seen it and now feeling obliged to "settle the score". Besides, any movie with the cast that include great actors, such as Vesna Trivalic, Nikola Kojo, Zoran Cvijanovic and Nikola Djuricko, to name a few, simply cannot be labeled "awful". Therefore, definitely worth watching, since it provides tremendous perspective on the troubles that all the artists going through in order to secure funding and create a new project. Also, direct parody on pretending business and political elites, accompanied with the marionette decision makers in the TV and Marketing industry. Furthermore, unbelievable scenes from the party convention that unfortunately precisely depict the overall Balkan reality. On the other hand, disappointing reaction from the people who do not have courage to laugh at the ruling party and participate in the overall establishment mockery.

Ultimately, it really hit the nerve, when presenting the Serbian statesman, notorious for his blue suit. Simply hilarious!

P.S.

Superb reference and comparison with the sheep herd throughout the movie. Hopefully, our flock will be liberated and free from any form of pressure and more "punishment", especially in the Arts and Culture.

Hunt for a new time Serbian comedy is over!
vojinvidanovic28 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
There has been significant gap in good comedies since demise of Yugoslavia. Even most of good actors remained in Serbia, there were funds, ideas etc. missing and culture was at back of the new transition society.

What can be seen more of a "black comedy" then a comedy of a life of mid-aged famous actors nowadays? Main leads play themselves - yet popular, but not with new generation that knows not of culture ("can I have selfie with you? My mother adores you!"), playing roles in theater for 300e a month, eager of new challenges but without state, media and production houses?

And there it is - story of hope, ideas and creativity that ends bad in capitalism. Forcing actors to self-finance a pilot episode leads to bad faith of most working people - a house mortgage.

Thus on many levels, its black comedy of state-of-the-art of culture in Serbia today, but also about life of every one of us. That gives 10 as is a follow up to a Yugoslavian and Serbian school of black comedy, more then good one liners or scenes.

Compared to its competition (e.g. "Mali budo") shines on many levels.

As awful as it can get
zolanzs4 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Where to start ? The script is a disaster, primitive humor(farting in the microphone, allusions to sexual intercourse with sheep) could pass in some handyman's workshop, not in a movies screen. I don't understand where are the writers of Munje!, Kad porastem bicu Kengur, Mrtav ladan ? Has the writer seen Ko to tamo peva, Balkanski Špijun, Maratonce ? Acting performance is as bad as the script...It's an embarrassment to dedicate this bad movie to great actor Milorad Mandic. My worst impression is the full theater and random applause at the end. With that type of audience it's no wonder that most of new movies suck.I am sorry that I can't give zero. 1/10

Movie is bad...
preshabgd4 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I watched movie, without even thinking on asking anyone how it was... I am disappointed with story. Actors are good, as always. Story killed all. I understand that we, who live in Serbia, have many real life problems but to go through movie with it in that kind, I could not believe. For me, best "new" film from Serbia was "Lepa sela lepo gore". That film was made, also, because of problems in Former Yugoslavia, but it was film. But, but, but...for this movie...I really respect main characters as actors, because they are great actors. I don't understand why did they accepted these roles, or even better to ask why did they accepted to be in this type of movie. They are smart people, I guess. This is not a good film. For film score is 1, for actors and few good scenes score is 6, so middle score from me is 3... Shame. p.s. Score 10 is for Vojin Cetkovic. He did not have big role, but he was great.

Disappointment
Bored_Dragon22 January 2018
Since for decades, in almost all domestic films, we are watching all the same actors, sometimes I wonder to what extent goes their objective quality and how much is it clouded by our habit and emotional attachment to the faces we grew up with. Anyway, something like this should be far below their level. Nikola, Zoran, Vesna, Natasa, why the hell?! I understand political satire and it's completely in place, but why did it have to be this vulgarly obvious?! Production is not included in the rating, because this is Serbia, but ridiculous budgets are not excuse for totally uninspired scenario. Except few decent jokes and performances of leading actors, there's nothing worthy in this movie. I don't even know why did I watch it through at all.
