Don't Waste Your Time
moderngolfer8 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
To save time, the big 'secret' is that the formation is just volcanic rock, smoothed from being underwater for years, decades, centuries.

The two 'explorers' then got angry when it was revealed the formation was simply volcanic, so they couldn't scam any further money out of investors.

The end.

Warning: Spoilers
Once again we are treated to mysterious equipment failures, crew indecision, and questionable sonar results....end result...nothing but a bunch of rocks on the ocean floor.

Filler
Watcher4227 December 2018
The majority of this documentary is filler.

They talk at length about the treasure hunters background, the tension of how much it all costs. They talk about the boat, the captain, the news frenzy about the original announcement. There's a contrived dramatic moment where they conveniently somehow lose the sonar 'fish'. There are other weak dramatic moments about 'difficult decisions' and temperature changes and odd sonar results. There's 'experts' saying stuff like 'It could be the Millennium Falcon'.

There's little analysis, and what they do show conveniently supports their narrative and lacks scientific credibility.

I think this documentary was created purely to try and raise funds so they can continue investigating or milking (depending on your point of view) this anomaly.

Bait and Switch
soloncircus11 July 2020
The title of this documentary should be,

"We forgot to read the strux (of the GPS)!"

It is a bait and switch scam, that hopes you do not notice. They bait you with a ragged-pixel abstract image of the iconic Millennium Falcon, and claim they found it on the floor of the Baltic. But...oops! Aw, shucks, they lost it. From this they spin a boring documentary of blunders and misadventures as they try to find it again, showcasing their ineptitude that lost it in the first place. File it under "comedy."

Intriguing doco.
Movie-Guy-6522 August 2020
This is an intriguing documentary. What really is this object laying at bottom of Baltic Sea? When your life is being threatened and you're accused of being con men you know you may be onto something. Hope one day we find out. Watch this and make your own mind up.
