What's the point ?

1 hour 30 minutes can shorten to half an hour. I don't see the meaning of this movie, neither drama nor romance, it's nothing......

Bad direction does not make up for decent acting
richard_ferdman13 November 2023
The best part of the movie was the acting (Laurent's character most notably) but the screenplay and direction was just too abnormally fast paced. The story needed greater warmth of script and screenplay and the director needed to enforce intimacy without forcing it down our throats. The scene with the vest was particularly implausible and unnecessary.

Well I have lots more characters to go and in fact 189 left in fact. So I have to go down a path of filling in a lot of space and I am down to 97 characters now and at this rate I might be able to get down to 31 characters and finish this off now.

Well written script.

This movie was worth watching. Two strangers meeting in an isolated place. Good character development and interesting story, though I would have enjoyed knowing a bit more about Brittany. Chloe Lanier has an excellent performance. The ending was abrupt, but reading about the director's vision, it makes sense. Gives the viewer some things to think about. If you like an ending with clear cut resolution, you will probably be disappointed.

Great Start

This film is a throwback to the glory days of film where big wide shots were more often used and characters were given the space and time to slowly develop. This is the directors first feature narrative. I think it's a great first film for any director! The ending leaves you wanting to know what happens next with the characters. Always a good sign! Looking forward to seeing more from this filmmaker as he hones his craft!
