Good plot, good acting, but...

Overall, if you're looking for a good story with TV broadcasting/journalism as the background, this is overall a good series. The plot is well written, enjoyable to watch and the acting on all sides is great, especially the lead characters.

But, and this is the BIG but! With 16 episodes, it would have been so easy to include romance into the plot as well. After all, the lead characters have so, so much opportunity and it would have quadrupled the entertainment value of the entire series. But alas, now and then, very very sparingly, once a while in a very slight nuanced way, it's hinted, whispered, suggested, oh so mildly, here a little, there a little, in probably less than 1% of the entire screen time over 16 episodes and at the end of the series, well, I can't do a spoiler, right?...Now what does the writer and director have against mixing a healthy and rich dose of romance into this well-written drama?!

Convincing stars but dry and hard to follow at times.

The good points of this series: The lead actors are convincing. Son Ye Jin acts well - cute feisty and vulnerable - Not many actresses could do this role. Ji Jin Hee is believable as her boss. If you are sick of romantic melodramas and love triangles, this is a series that focusses on the careers of journalists in a tv news station. There are a few fairly interesting stories that involve the cast. A criminal and some corruption involving construction and politicians. It is hard to follow at times. And quite boring. Not a must watch.
