The English trip hop group Portishead has also conceived and made a short film, To Kill a Dead Man (1994). Like the short film Our Children (2015), To Kill a Dead Man (1994) is about the taking and loss of life by and to violence, revenge and its aftermath. A still frame from To Kill a Dead Man (1994) serves as the cover for the Portishead album Dummy, upon which the song "Roads", which serves as the musical track for Our Children (2015), was released. As the film Our Children (2015) journeys the roads from Sabra and Shatila to Halhul North to the Jerusalem Forest, all scenes of the tragic taking and loss of life of children and young people ending by fire, viewers are forced to confront the irreversible cost of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and conflict in the larger Middle East.
