It's meant to be Christmas and yet when Faraday and Caroline take a walk in the grounds to see the site for the new houses the trees in the background are in full leaf.
At the very start of the movie Faraday is shaving. Telephone suddenly rings and he wipes off the shaving foam from his face at the middle of his shaving as he goes to answer the telephone. That doesn't make any sense, no man would that, not even a doctor who's rushing to help a patient, especially in those times where image was extremely important. What is more, when he is seen in the following shots, he is clearly shaved. If he fully shaved after the call, there was no point in removing the foam.
Early on, Domhnall Gleeson's character confesses to having "snuck up" into the house once as a child. No Brit of the time would have said "snuck", which is an Americanism that has only recently been creeping into British English. "Sneaked up" or "sneaked in".
