Never forgive, never forget.
I guess I will be the second reviewer for this documentary. The first one clearly has no clue what he's talking about but I can't blame him for that, he's just ignorant. For the documentary itself I would rate it with an eight, for the message a ten. The reason why there are only antifascists speaking in this documentary has different reasons, the first and most obvious reason is the title itself, it's about antifascists. The second reason would be because fascists and far right supporters are dumb as rocks and besides spreading hate they have absolutely no positive message to declare, never ever did I hear anything positive from that side. The third and probably most important reason is that fascists don't like to be known openly as fascists (even they know it's fundamentally wrong to be so intolerant and full of hate). They like to play the tough guys between themselves, attacking defenseless people and blaming everything that is going wrong to others (preferably someone that isn't white or just not thinking like them) is their favorite thing to do in life. And even if we would live in a fascist world in the future (what will never happen by the way as there are too much good people that will fight that brown disease) they would still find something else to be angry about. Hatred, greed and dumb egoistic behavior is just how they function, so they would always find something to whine about instead of trying to be happy for once. That said the documentary is not only about the active antifascists that fight back with violence (which I applaud by the way, you can't hit them hard enough to make them understand), but it's also about antifascists that just demonstrate without violence against those scum of the earth. Showing there will always be opposition is also a good thing even though they should be happy the harder section of antifa is there to protect the weaker ones. The documentary shows mostly the Swedish and Greek scene, both very different but at the same time equal with the same goal, eradicate everything that is intolerant, to fight racism at all costs. And before you start saying antifascists are intolerant themselves you should learn a bit more about history and the movement itself instead of letting history repeat itself. Big respect to Joel Bjurströmer Almgren, a hero in my eyes. And to all the people that died from fascism, we will never forgive, never forget.
