A must see for everyone...
ktspence-398245 March 2020
This documentary movie is shocking gripping and moving. From personal accounts and evidence this movie uncovers how the air we breath on aeroplanes is not safe for our health. The unbelievable cover-up and denial from industry and governments for 50 years is exposed and you are left with an important piece of knowledge you deserve to know.

Amazing film everybody needs to watch
sm-779308 March 2020
The film for me has totally opened my eyes to potentially hazardous toxic poisoning on many flights. It is clear that the airline industry has ignored the subject for too long and Tristian presents the compelling evidence that this must stop.

compares to Big Tobacco claims
ferguson-614 January 2021
Greetings again from the darkness. Do you know where cabin air comes from on the commercial planes you fly for vacation or business? Most of us don't. We simply take the airlines word that the air is filtered and safe. Or at least we did before the pandemic motivated us to question air quality everywhere. Former British Airways Captain Tristan Loraine has spent most of two decades researching and compiling information on the cabin air he and so many flight crews ... and passengers ... breathe on a regular basis.

Loraine is not diving into whether COVID is being spread between folks on a flight, but rather his focus is on TCP (Tricresyl Phosphate), a chemical present in the oil used in jet engines. Without proper filtration and maintenance, TCP can leak into cabin air and cause varying degrees of health issues. Catastrophic events are rare and typically identified, but the real concern is the long-term impact of being exposes to slow leakage causing contaminated air.

The comparison to "Big Tobacco" is made here, and it seems to fit as airlines and manufacturers all say there is nothing to worry about. This stance seems to fly in the face of documented cases of varying illnesses reported by crew members over the years ... plus the numerous times where passengers and crews were overtaken by odor and toxic fumes that put them in immediate danger. When the toxicologist points out that a defense of "no evidence" showing danger is meaningless when no tests are run or data collected, the real concern kicks in.

Tristan Loraine and co-director Beth Moran (a former USAF Thunderbirds pilot) present testimony, research, and documentation to justify focused attention on the risk of bleeding air from the engines. They contrast this method with that of Boeing's 787 which utilizes compressors. What's shocking is that this has been a known, and overlooked issue since the 1950's, and the hope is that the film could spur some true action for the safety of those why fly. No narrator is utilized in the film, but the information is systematically presented ... it's not meant to be entertaining, but rather informative. And that it is.

Profits before safety?
dparris-396735 March 2020
This is a fabulous piece of film making. It shines a light on the power of the aerospace industry and the lengths it is going to to cover up something which is a known issue. After watching this film I know which aircraft I want to fly on in future. Unfortunately there aren't many at the moment. Hopefully this film will bring about some change. Excellent documentary.

Full of information most passengers & some crew don't know. Find out why you always feel like you've caught a cold or flu after a flight and fly informed. This is the most important film you will ever watch.

Superb Documentary - to be applauded
ronaldedmond4 March 2020
What a superb documentary. Tristan has excelled with genuine information from a variety of sources. It is encouraging to hear that Easyjet are the first UK airline to consider installing filters. All the others are burying their heads in the sand with denials of the problem.... but I fear for not much longer. The writing is clearly on the wall - there needs to be more litigation against airlines and aircraft / engine manufacturers for producing and or operating in an unsafe manner. The truth is on every can of engine oil. With more litigation that will force the situation. DHL although cargo only have retro fitted clean air systems.I was surprised the French knew of this problem in the 50's and their military had engine oil to different specification - shock horror that even that oil is untested for toxic vapours etc. Well done Tristan I look forward to your next documentary.

A hard look at the greed and callousness of the aviation industry.
jweber-166394 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This documentary changed the way I looked at the aviation industry and commercial airlines. Safety is a word that seems to go hand in hand with passenger flight, for example we are all familiar with how many layers of security we go through just to board a plane. The last thing we would expect them is that these airlines we give our money and trust to don't really care about our wellbeing. Tristan did an amazing and very thorough job exposing the level of corruption in the industry, the power these companies have to Cover up the truth of what is happening to your body everytime you fly. The fact that your air supply on board commercial airliners is compromised by toxic jet exhaust fumes is shocking, and it still amazes me that it is only now that we are being informed about a major health issue that has gone on for decades. Bravo Tristan

Incredible.
rachaelanninnesclark10 March 2020
This film is an absolute must see - for everyone. It is an incredible exploration of an extremely important issue that I'm the majority of the public are completely unaware of. The film itself is moving in places, due to the stories of the participants who have been personally affected by the lack of proper filtration systems in airplanes. Credit is due to Tristan and the rest of the team for their committment to creating this film and bringing knowledge of this issue to the public. It really is an incredible watch.

A quiet film that might prove to be a turning point for the issue.
jaminon2 October 2019
Declaration of interest here, I know Tristan and found this to be unexpectedly moving. This could become an issue as big as Tobacco or Asbestos. Toxins in cabin air is the thing that no-one wants to acknowledge. Everybody Flies is a softly spoken film that lets the facts and its victims speak for themselves. And in the end we are left with the distinct feeling that more than anything this is about the betrayal of childhood dreams by big corporations. Nicely shot and edited and a good score. You will think about flying differently by the end of it. I did. Knowing something about Tristan's journey, this is also a tribute to the power of tenacity.

Excellent informative documentary
karenmccaffery312 March 2020
This documentary film gives an excellent insight to the potential dangers of toxic air in aircraft cabins. I hope it will be given a platform which will allow it to be seen by a wider audience to raise awareness and bring about change by the aviation industry to rectify this serious problem.

Outstanding Documentary
kirstyfalconer-4354217 March 2020
I saw this documentary at the Glasgow premier on the 9th of March and I was blown away by the details and drive shown by Tristan. It's a must see for anyone who travels by plane or is going on a plane soon. More needs to be done to disclose the appalling behaviour of the airlines, governments and health officials that help to cover this up, in the past and still to this day.

samzy-767174 March 2020
An amazing documentary that details the airline coverup of the toxic air you are exposed to everytime you fly. Hearing the stories of those left with health complications and no acknowledgement or compensation from the airlines is moving and shows how little airlines really value passengers and staff. Would recommend to anyone, share this film!

Before you fly again you need to watch this!
lizzieandgirls5 April 2020
What an amazing informative film that highlights a cover up by the airline industry. This film shows with detailed information and clear research the impact of TCP's. How can this still be happening? Why are not airlines made accountable? How are governments ignoring the health of citizens? When you fly and even at the airport you feel you are safe. Security checks made etc. All to protect passengers and crew. I'm struggling to understand why this is not reported more. Denial cannot be tolerated anymore. Tristan has exposed the airlines through in-depth analysis that cannot be ignored . This film highlights the lengths companies will go to protect the industry. A must see for everyone to watch!

Powerful and engaging!
kimcameron-239662 April 2020
As someone who has a vested interest in the aviation industry I had some prior knowledge of the controversy around contaminated cabin air. This excellent documentary opened my eyes fully to the scandal being perpetrated by the airlines, aircraft manufacturers and the wider aviation industry.

What struck me most upon watching the film was the wholesale mendacity by a host of actors who are complicit in poisoning passengers and crews all over the world, everyday! Whilst most of us realise that corporations have nothing bar their own profit motive driving their actions it was particularly disturbing to be confronted by the fact that it is not just these corporations, but regulators, government and even some members the scientific community who are ranged against the health and wellbeing of the travelling public and airline crews.

Tremendous bravery and tenacity was shown by all the contributors in this powerful documentary! Great work!

Truly shocking revelations!
mgreene-395374 April 2020
This film brilliantly uncovers what the aviation industry has worked hard to keep hidden from the public. I was shocked to find out just how far they have gone to cover up the truth. This is a well investigated and very informative film. I found the personal stories to be well told and riveting. Watch this film. You'll be educated and alert the next time you fly.

An eye opener
laurataylor-7056511 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I was a little apprehensive to watch this movie as I work in the airline industry and was a little frightened to hear something that would possibly affect my health. This film has been meticulously put together and is amazingly informative. Everything in this movie affects everybody and I mean EVERYBODY that flies. The cinema was silent as the realisation of the consequences sunk in. Unborn babies possibly affected, neurological issues within a large working community explained, deaths of young healthy people explained. This is a HUGE issue and one that this movie puts forward with gusto. There is no argument...the proof is there in black and white....or colour in this instance. Fantastic work with a tiny budget. Can't wait for the sequel!

How much longer can this be swept under the carpet?
diannebennett-4785529 February 2020
AN ABSOLUTE MUST SEE. Attended a screening of this film documentary tonight. The absolute silence of the audience bar gasps of shock and disbelief provided testament to what a powerful and hard hitting piece of work this is. The Q&A session at the end provided by its Director Tristan Loraine demonstrated the engagement of the audience with their emotionally fuelled questions. Of particular note was a young man who had suffered the loss of his father following his retirement as a Pilot on medical grounds. Some of the audience were there by poor chance rather than having any background story and were unable to grasp how not only international governments but the airline industry itself are able to sweep this all under the carpet without at least some requirement to conduct tests necessary to counteract the claims of life debilitating illness and premature death or provide any answers to questions such as why cancer rates are higher among air crew than other professions. Having myself been shocked to hear of the death of the ever humble and immensely generous Paragliding 'Sky God' Richard Westgate in early 2013 I was hearing similar reactions to those I myself experienced. Quite a few years on, with many letters to my MP, to several successive Ministers of Transport, Freedom of Information requests, etc, I am no longer shocked by the lack of response or soundbites to satisfy the majority and keep the money and power where it is. One day though there will be answers and those answers will be as a result of the tireless efforts of people such as Tristan, Charlie Bass, Dallas McIntosh, John Hoyte, Dee Passon and so many others both in the UK and internationally.

As a 30 year aircrew member, I was shocked and appalled to be watching this movie, but at the same time utterly unable to look away. This movie gives voice to our silent fears. Tristin's dogged perseverance and honesty deliver an information for all who fly; because Everybody Flies.

Goosebumps and tears
flywithmecm8 April 2020
Watching Everybody Flies was an eye opening experience. It is evident that Tristian has put a ton of time and effort into gathering this information. Tears came when I realized that the airline industry is knowingly harming people. I got goosebumps when I heard the extent the airline industry is willing to go to cover up. I hope everybody that ever takes a flight watches this an cries out!!! We deserve clean air. Knowing it could potentially be fixed with a air filter is the so heart breaking as it shows that money is indeed the reason the industry choses not to put them on. I say we are worth far more than a filter! Thank you Tristian for your time, effort, and perseverance in putting this together.

Justice prevails
contactsharonl4 April 2020
Having been injured from a fume event and losing my 28 year flying career I was more than ready to see this documentary. What I wasn't prepared for was the repeated lies, cover up and depth of complicity of the aviation industry who myself and millions of crew and passengers trust with our lives. How can these people sleep at night !! Tristan and team... thank you for such a brilliantly informative yet sobering piece of work I salute you and support this fight for the Truth and justice for all Watch out aviation...

Everybody Flies
angelicamarl3 March 2020
This movie is a must see. I was literally gripped to my seat in anticipation of what was coming next. It's the story that just has to be told. We all fly and we are all at risk, this is the second production I have loved from Tristan Lorraine. Please go and see this, it will both educate you and make you think and question airline transparency.

Flying high
lucyhall-024038 April 2020
Having had a career in Aviation for a number of years, the entire content of this film resonated with me in many ways. Not all good I have to say, as my health is now poor as a result of these toxins. The film was brilliantly put together, it was very informative with evidence to back up any findings. The work and hours Tristan must have applied to giving us the very truth begets belief. Thank you Tristan. A must for everyone in the aviation industry but everyone else should know what's going on..........

Incontestable Documentary!
libby_mclaurie11 April 2020
I found this documentary very emotionally powerful but not in a good way. I flew for over 20 years as a Flight Attendant and know these fumes, weird smells and smoke hazes exist as I have personally experienced them; especially on the BAe146. God forbid, I am so enraged that a cover up can still continue with so much evidence and proof available. Tristan with his calm voice and succinct manner has captured and delivered an outstanding documentary with facts that cannot be ignored for much longer!! Well done.
