Dragging the line...
songod-950031 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
My gosh does this show drag things out. Apparently other seasons have only 6 eps and so perhaps they tighten up.

While engaging, the snails pace does make it a chore to get through an ep just to hit a bit or two of useful information.

Many scenes should have either been quick and done or not in the show at all. Example: The trip to the grocery was unnecessary. We knew Nia was unhappy and alone. Illustrating it for us was not required.

Two more and done!

Best episode to date.
Sleepin_Dragon11 August 2018
Part Six is the most accomplished episode to date, the previous five have been great, but this sixth episode has taken the series up another level. This Part seeks to show the impact of events on all the main players, the impact of the original murder, the impact of Megan's kidnap, even D.S Vaughan's final admission about his relationship status.

This was an hour of the most powerful drama you could possibly watch, some incredible moments, I'll highlight the scene where Gillian talks to Megan about her reason for being there, and the second where Cadi interviews Endaf Elwy, both intense moments of drama, the acting as good as you'll see. I've laid plaudits on Rhodri Meilir and Sian Reese-Williams, but now it's time for those to fall on Gwyneth Keyworth and Mark Lewis Jones, superb!

I'd love to know what motivates Gillian, why she accepts her son's monstrous behaviour, and who exactly is Nia?

This series has been such a winner, and this has been the best episode to date, two more! Can't wait! 10/10
