A series review.

So the first season is complete with high ratings and high expectations of renewals. It's a Chuck Lorre , so in general the show was connected, witty and filled "to a point" with funny bits, now is it as strong as TBBT !! well of course not,, but again , many of Lorre's series started like this, specifically talking about "Mom" and "Mike and Molly" and they both ran for 6 full seasons,, so i'm expecting much more next October " if a renewal passed through".

Anyway,, The show was good, and the plot was easily followable especially for those who watched TBBT ,, and to a point connected so many dots for Sheldon's acts and behaviors , which reflects the writers cleverness and ability to create a new story out of old one.

The cast was good,, most of them all "unexpectedly" i loved Lance Barber ( George Sr.) and Montana Jordan (Georgie) they were really funny.

finally as i said, still no news for a renewal, which seems a bit off, but i'm confident that "based on history between Lorre and CBS" they will give him what he wants.

Vanilla Ice Cream, Gentleman Callers, and a Dinette Set

This episode for me sums up why this spin-off/prequel series has been a success thus far.

Yes, Sheldon is here, but it's not all been about him. Here Connie/MeeMaw is very much the central focus, and the character has been developed/established enough by this point that everything doesn't fall apart because of it.

Compare that to 'Joey', a show that I adore, but cannot say the same thing about. Everything was centred around Joey, and the development of the other characters ultimately was suffocated by this.

I think this spin-off/prequel series is in a good shape moving forwards, and I look forward to seeing more.

Rivals in Love

Connie is having dinner with Dr. John Sturgis and out of the blue, she receives a phone call from Ira Rosenbloom. On the next evening, she has dinner with him at a restaurant and she discloses her relationship with another man. Ira feels the rejection and decides to fight his rival. Sheldon interferes creating rules for them.

"Vanilla Ice Cream, Gentleman Callers, and a Dinette Set" is the last episode of The First Season of "Young Sheldon" and the only released on DVD in Brazil. The episode is very funny, with the two old men disputing the love of Meemaw. The fight between Dr. Sturgis and Ira at his shop is hilarious. Sheldon, as usual, interferes in their relationship forcing them to sign a contract with rules for the dispute. My vote is eight.

Title (Brazil): "Vanilla Ice Cream, Gentleman Callers, and a Dinette Set".

Great episode but notaries are not allowed to stamp their own documents. At least in Ohio
