Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Although never explicitly stated in-game, some of the lore references mass reproduction and polygamy. Nothing is shown in the game.
  • A dalliance is mentioned between a key character and another character. Nothing bad.

Violence & Gore

  • When an enemy is struck, sometimes it emits a spurt of orange liquid this is the infection it is not blood.
  • In the final boss of the game, the boss is seen stabbing themselves and orange liquid spurts out.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The game contains frequent depictions of death, including deaths of major characters. In one scene, a character is impaled with the claw of a boss; just before dying, they manage to deliver a fatal blow to the boss, resulting in both characters dying.
  • One part of the games lore suggests cannibalism
  • In one area of the game, The Abyss, there is an extremely dark backstory. Although never stated in game and is only told through lore, it is implied the Pale King experimented on children by forcing them to attempt to climb up a dangerous, spike riddled area. In a flashback, you climb up it, and see corpses that look very similar to yours fall down from above. Not only can this be scary to some, it is very intense and makes most players emotional with the rising music.
  • Three areas in the game are particularly scary and intense. One takes place in a sewer with slimy enemies who try to eat you. The sound design makes this so scary. There is also deep nest, which has spiders and monsters everywhere. And then there's the Ancient Basin, which is riddled with black goo trying to kill you and other disturbing monsters. All of these areas truly make you feel alone and scared.
  • There is one boss in the game called Nosk that looks like the Knight but has a disturbing transformation. He looks like a giant spider.
  • There is a boss in the game called Nosk. He stalks the player trough Deepnest and when the player finds him he has a disturbing transformation that leads into a boss fight. There are corpses hanging from the ceiling in the background.
  • The Warrior Dream No Eyes' design, arena, and battle OST can all be very uncomfortable or scary to a younger player.
