Excellent, again.

I definitely expected a bit of a lull at this stage, once again though I'm proven wrong by another gripping and captivating episode. The best of the first trio of episodes, it has a an air or realism about it, which is quite scary, namely the children drafted in to the militia, and the unspeakable acts that they are made to carry out.

We are slowly learning more about Georgia and her background, but we are being drip fed information.

Outstanding. 9/10

"I Know Who You Are!"

Warning: Spoilers
The third episode opens in Namoya in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Pieter Bello is playing a dangerous game of counterinsurgency, as he enlists a youngster named Adiga to aid him in his power play by murdering a nationalist in cold blood. Pieter professes that he has higher aims, wanting to make the world a better place for his daughter.

The character of Martin Benson, Georgia's father, is developed more clearly in this episode. At one point in time, Benson had deserted Georgia in her time of need. Now, she calls on him for assistance. Her goal of locating Will has now moved into an obsession for Georgia to discover the truth about the death of Emmanuel. It is clear that Benson has connections.

Ariel is denied a place in the Dutch research center's program for eye surgery. He now reveals the truth to Beatrix about his experience aboard the plane that crashed in the Congo. Ariel had witnessed Emmanuel's wife coerced into taking the explosive device onto the plane. When she opened the laptop, the explosion followed taking the plane down. Apparently, Ariel and a woman named Dominique were the only survivors. Ariel believed that Dominique was murdered and that his own blinding was a threat intended to keep him silent. Recognizing the discretion is the better part of valor, Beatrix ends the relationship with Ariel. In the flashback recreation of the crash, Ariel has brushed passed Will, picking up an object on the floor of the airport terminal and handing it to him. But did Will ever board the flight?

In an ominous moment that once again recalls Conrad's "Heart of Darkness," Judith informs Georgia while flying over the beautiful forests of the Congo that "there's such a darkness beneath it." The awesome forests are contrasted with the "civilized" buildings of Rotterdam in the Ariel-Beatrix subplot. Georgia confronts the darkness when she is nearly assaulted by Rwandan liberation forces. The quick-thinking Georgia picks up the gun and shoots one of the perpetrators.

Another secret was revealed before Georgia's descent into the darkness of the forest. Judith informed her that Will was having an affair with the wife of one of the local generals. An incredulous Georgia cannot believe this to be the case and is extremely curt to Judith. But the evidence points to Will having a wandering eye, and he became terrified that the general might find out about his shenanigans.

In the climactic scene, Ariel is preparing to leave Rotterdam when he is confronted by a surprise visitor. It is none other than Martin Benson, who approaches him in the hotel with the chilling words, "I know who you are! I know what you did!"
