The Return: An Interview with Greydon Clark (2017)
*** (out of 4)
This twelve-minute chat with director Greydon Clark has him talking about his early career and then moving into his 1982 picture THE RETURN. He starts off talking about how he got into the business on a couple early Al Adamson pictures and from here he talks about breaking out on his own with films like BLACK SHAMPOO. From here we get to THE RETURN where he talks about finding the script and then he tells some nice stories about the cast. This includes Cybill Shepherd and how she got on board, the professionalism of Martin Landau and what trouble he had with Jan-Michael Vincent on the picture. If you're a fan of the director or the film in question then you'll enjoy this interview. There's not a lot of great details on the making of THE RETURN but there are enough nice and entertaining stories to make this worth watching.
