Timeless Marilyn and Peace seeking Jack!

Warning: Spoilers
The first time Frank Cutler told me about his plans to make this film was back around 2015 or 2016. He asked me to help him come up with a wardrobe design for Marilyn and later for her friend Dorothy Kilgallen. The character development of Marilyn was to be refined, well-educated, and respectful while envisioning inspiration from people like Jackie O. This took us to the designer Givenchey's 1950-1960 designs. We found an inspired blue dress suit that Marilyn could wear, during the "Last Press Conference". Frank wanted this scene to be an opportunity where Marylin's voice would be given to her, as if beyond the grave. When the film was screening, a few months ago, I noticed a film critic commented before even seeing the film. His opinion revolved around what he thought the movie was going to be about. In a very stereotypical way, he assumed the movie would be like others that depict her life with the same subject matter. However, the purpose of this film is to return dignity and self-respect to the people involved and show that their intentions could have been good. Perhaps, not at all how Hollywood and people in power (such as the FBI and other organizations may have misled the public to believe). This is why a movie like this should have been made and why it would be important to see this movie. Everything I have studied in the past few years has taught and reinforced in my mind how evil speaking and fault finding, digging a pit for our brother or friend is wrong. My brother and I were talking, many years ago, about how the influence of a misleading few can have power over the minds of others, in convincing something bad or wrong about someone else, even when it may not be true. This film is centered around breaking down the stereotype that has persisted since the death of the characters involved. Included in the film is a speech given by John F. Kennedy and his plans for PEACE, not just peace for you and me, but world peace. A kind of peace that would lead to world disarmament. There is actual footage of this speech and is the starting point for the film. The words given are so powerful. President Kennedy spoke about the dangers of secret combinations that he saw swirling around him. These speeches show how President Kennedy's past efforts were focused on disarming those dangers. Those who have read the Book of Mormon, are familiar with the warnings about secret combinations depicted in that record about this land, including the warnings for our day that the secret combinations would seek to overthrow the peace and freedom of all lands and people. Again, as I spoke with Frank about what he had learned about President Kennedy, he wanted to show that a man consumed with seeking the peace of a nation and world does not seem like the kind of man who would have been involved in soul-destroying habits. Then Frank turned to the talents of Marilyn. She really could act in circles around people when she stepped onto the stage. Not because she was necessarily more talented than other actors. Simply because Marilyn put so much of her time and effort into making herself the best she could with what she was doing. Before she passed away, Marilyn planned to hold a press conference to announce something special. Before her death, she had started her own production company and she was planning to take on more serious acting roles. She planned to walk away from the roles that Hollywood had typecast her for and bring forward her true serious and graceful side. It seems Marilyn was trying to take charge of her life and make great steps to change her image. All this I learned from my brother's research about Marilyn Monroe, JFK, and other great supporting characters and friends. To sum it all up, we should not let ourselves be caught up in worldly perceptions of others. We should choose to believe in the best of others. Then each one of us should look at our own lives and make sure that we are living the best way that we can. We each have a responsibility to protect the dignity of another person. We never know what is in the minds and hearts of another person. We never know what heartaches another person faces. We never know what struggles someone may face. When we surround ourselves with secret works, of any kind this is the beginning of destruction. The words of the Book of Mormon speak from the dust. They speak the truth of a Savior who came to this earth and taught us that His Law is Love and His Gospel is Peace. We are to learn to repent and forgive others. Learn to let conflict go from our hearts. Bullying of any kind to anyone is never okay. There is something to be said when we allow misunderstandings and misinterpretations to rule our thinking and belief systems. When we seek to know or recognize the truth about someone else, we are to be brave, humble, and let go of stubborn inclinations. When you need to, go to that person and simply ask them for yourself.
