The first half was perfect with cracking joking.Thought this was going to be an another kattappana.Dulquer,Vishnu,Salim kumar,Soubin was doing their best and their shows made everyone in the theatres laughing out.

But actually what was the makers thinking about second half?A movie which had all the potential to become a colorful comedy entertainer changes it's direction and becomes unrealistic and suddenly rubber fights comes to the screen.

As a genuine fan of dulquer,I don't want him to go to the path of mohanlal/mamooty who is doing pathetic films due to their fans.

A movie without any good story line. Some suppose to be comedy scenes stitched together to a totally un-realistic wafer thin story. Stunt scenes are prolonged like Tamil movies. On the whole waste of time and money.

One time watchable movie... Not compare able to the previous two stories of Vishnu and Bibin in plot, comedy, entertaining elements and dialogues.. An average malayali would would be expecting more especially when DQ returns after a 500 more days break.

After 25 minutes into the movie, we were thinking of escaping from the theatre. Looked like some comedy show with weak storyline. Giving 2 stars for few of the comedy. Expected decent selection from DQ , quite disappointed.

Oru yamandan prema kadha will become one of disaster movie from dq , Screen play written by vishu unnikrishnan and bibin george after their huge success of akbar anthony and kattappanayile hrithik roshan , Cannot compare this film with that films , Avg 1st half and followed by below avg 2nd half , Class less comedies , Worst screenplay from such talented youngsters, Then comes to the directors part he shoot the movie like a tele serial ,we can suffer that because he is a debut director ,we can hope he will become good at his future projects , Positive factor is the acting side and frames all are good dq ,suraj etc....

As the youth stylish star dulquer returns to mollywood after a long period of time we all are in a high expectation,as a fan of him iam well satisfied with this film.Enough drama,romance, comedy everything is added by allowed quantity like a master chef.Writer duo owe a great applause. In a rom com movie like this it's climax is very different we don't expect something like that.

Never seen such a worst movie anywhere near.. went with a lot of expectations and came out hating everybody in that movie including Dulqar. The script is awful. Did not enjoy a bit.. why good movies are unavailable overseas...

Average Movie made for only comedy

A one time watchable without expecting a good story or plot. You can just watch this movie for its comedy. Story doesnot have any interesting factor as you expect. Watch without any expectations, but for its average comedy. Story rating can be given only around 2.5. 6 is for the comedy.

I have enjoyed most of the Dulquer Salman films I've seen so far so I looked forward to Oru Yamandan Premakadha when I found it today on JioCinema in orig. Malayalam w/Eng. subs.

The plot is wishy washy and too slapstick in several scenes, without really going anywhere. This is certainly not Dulquer Salman at his best, nor the rest of the otherwise good cast.

The film was quite boring for the most part and I fast forwarded my way generously through till the end.

Silly, unrealistic and a waste of time.

I cannot understand why Dulquer, Soubin and others would act in this C grade movie. Its a collection of lousy jokes. This movie shows what a bad director can do to good actors!

Dulquer Salmaan is an unfunny chronic bachelor looking for the woman of his life who can create a spark in his heart in B C Noufal's scattered comedy skit-style masala film Oru Yamandan Premakadha (A Gigantic Love Story) with a massively ridiculous plot that is at least bearable because of three things: the humor delivered by Salim Kumar and Soubin Shahir, Kerala pop culture update and new materials, and Bibin George's textbook portrayal of a sadistic druggie. TN.

Stupid stupid movie. barely any plot. feels like the team were just cramming the script with jokes and characters and realized halfway through that they needed a plot. And so they made a stupid villain with a stupid motive just to have him clash with the "hero". The hero is a total bum of a character. NO development, just character quirks and a tag-line. Undoubtedly one of Soubin's poorest choices was to act in this movie. Complete waste of his talent, The same goes for DQ who like his predecessor has fallen into the trap of playing god-like messiah figures. dumb movie, nonsensical, almost unneccesary plot and conflict, poor jokes and gags and underdeveloped shells of characters.

Very comedy and thought full movie

I like this movie very much. Its an excellent movie. When we looking the comedy and the story, we can say that it is a amaizing movie. Actors like dulqar salamn, suraj, vishnu, bibin, saleem kumar, baiju, ext.. are excellent and they are natural acting to their character It is superb movie... No words more..

I wonder how come DQ signed for this film to play the role. The film is too shabby and editing is a disaster. The shots come here and there with no soul which makes the watching unbearable most of the times. The writers tried to incorporate as much wits as possible, but a very few of them actually 'succeeds' in evoking laughs. Overall, a disaster movie with nothing special to watch.

One of the worst movies in malayalam film history

If there was an award for worst movies of the year, this would definitley be up there. Plot is laughable, filled with cliches ,characters are underdeveloped, unnecessary scenes to what they call "plot", comedies are hit and miss, dq cannot do comedy, worst direction, story ,acting . i dont think there was a script supervisor on set.. in a lot of the scenes there were changes from shot to shot. Tried to introduce a lot of new terms and get itself to be named a cult classic but failed miserably. How on earth did they get the guy who did ustad hotel and npcb to act in this movie.. ill never know.. i wanted to give it a zero rating but there was no option for that. If you have money laying around, book a ticket and waste your time .. if not ... walk away.... byfar the worst movie ive seen in a theatre.

• Towards the end it becomes like a suspense movie.
• I felt like second half of the movie was inspired from English movie "Searching".
• Final Score - 4.0/10. Not worth watching.

First of all, fantastic performance by Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Suraj Venjaramood. The first few scenes were pretty cringe, to be honest. I found the film entertaining only because of Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Salim Kumar, Hareesh Kanaran and a few others. The script was too cliché. (SPOILERS AHEAD) I don't think it's possible you fall in love or get obsessed with someone you see on a newspaper. Not only is it dumb but also is not something a mentally stable person would do, no offense. Action scenes were unrealistic. They defy Physics just like 80% of Malayalam movies. Some emotional scenes were forced, but Suraj's performance truly touched me, and Vishnu Unnikrishnan also did a good job. Script could have been less cliché, direction was also that great. You can go for it, for the humour, not for anything else. Can you watch it with a typical Malayali family? Yes, you can.
