Could have been better!

Warning: Spoilers
When it comes to "Boom" it's yet another episode with a very interesting concept: was the intended victim a TV show star or her Navy husband ( of course it was the latter), but sadly the episode does not know what to focus on and becomes dull at times. I also hated that the ending felt to have come out of nowhere.

Overall, still an enjoyable one.

Boom - 1603

Have to love multiple Shakira comments and McGee getting called out for being a reality TV fan, but overall this was another forgettable episode.

Not a strong plot, not enough drama, Gibbs barely in the mix. NCIS is having a shaky start to the new season.

One scene ruined this episode
CrimeDrama110 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
When Bishop and Torres arrive at suspect David West's home, they see him working under the hood of his truck. They call his name and he immediately runs inside. I wonder why he would do this? TO GET HIS GUN! Torres and Bishop don't chase West, they don't unholster their guns, in fact, they don't do ANYTHING until after automatic gunfire erupts at them through a window. Before that happens, Bishop is shown standing still with her mouth wide open. Do we really need a law enforcement consultant for this scene? It is common sense. The suspect took cover and may be barricaded. We don't know what weapons he has so we need to take cover and call for backup. Do not just stand there like idiots until shots ring out. Reviewers rarely blame the director but that is the one person who could have made a difference in this scene. Once again, EVERYTHING in a crime drama MUST be believable to the viewer! This scene really doesn't make sense for Torres with his background. HE needs to be the one to grab Bishop and take cover as soon as the suspect runs inside.

Justice!

Warning: Spoilers
I mean as an episode of NCIS it was pretty boring fare, but the opening scene, a delicious piece of cathartic release to see two parcel thieves get just what they deserve, who hasn't wished that ending on those who have just walked off with goods that are not theirs.
