Like a well-crafted poem, this short film sketches the life of Art and Nan Kellam, a couple who chose to live their married life on Placentia, an island off the coast of Maine. The cinematography and soundtrack are lovely, and both work together to underscore the simplicity and also the complications of the Kellam's decision over a period of 30+ years. The movie focuses mainly (no pun intended) on the couple's relationship, as opposed to the obvious hardships of living on Placentia.
