Christopher Herrmann: Mouch has a lot of good things to say about you. Any of it true?
Ritter: I think Mouch is a really good guy, but I told him already, I turned in my resignation.
Christopher Herrmann: Listen. I trust Mouch's opinion as much as I trust my own. So if he says that you got what it takes, then I believe it.
Ritter: You said that?
Randall McHolland: Well, sure. Hey, Ritter. This isn't charity. I'm looking out for my friend here. He needs someone he can count on.
Christopher Herrmann: Come on, kid. What do you say?
Ritter: Yeah.
Randall McHolland: All right!
Christopher Herrmann: Hey, let's get a beer over here for my buddy Ritter. Hey, on the house.
Randall McHolland: That's the last time you'll ever hear those words.
Christopher Herrmann: Yeah.
Ritter: I don't get it. Why are you doing all this for me after I froze up in that stairwell?
Randall McHolland: Because you got back up. And getting back up, that's the hard part. Take it from someone who's been there.
Ritter: Um... I'm gonna do you proud, Mouch.
Randall McHolland: You damn well better. Welcome to 51, Ritter.
