‘Chicago Fire’: Brett Dalton Boards NBC Series In Recurring Role Following Jesse Spencer’s Departure
NBC’s Chicago Fire has added Brett Dalton to the cast in a recurring role on the heels of Jesse Spencer’s departure from the series after 10 seasons, Deadline has confirmed. Dalton will portray interim Lt. Jason Pelham, who will make his debut on Wednesday night’s episode airing at 9 p.m.
Spencer’s character Matt Casey exited in the October 20 episode, the landmark 200th for the celebrated Dick Wolf series. Casey not only left Firehouse 51 but Chicago completely for Oregon, where he will care for Griffin and Ben Darden— sons of Firehouse 51 legend Andy Darden, who died in the series premiere—while their mother is in jail again with another DUI charge. His relationship with Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) will remain long distance for the time being.

Before you know it, Hallmark will be knee-deep in Christmas.
But before you put on you jolly cap and decorate the tree, we still have some other celebrating to do.
Good Witch: Curse From a Rose airs Saturday, October 19 at 8/7c.
The Good Witch got its start with Halloween, and Middleton is going all out for the holiday. But someone visits Middleton with the hopes of turning their festivities upside down.
That someone is the aptly named Autumn Delaney, Cassie’s long-lost college roommate. From Cassie’s perspective, all is well, but unbeknownst to her (or is it?), Autumn harbors some ill will toward her old friend.
The Good Witch Season Finale Review: The Graduation
Bringing Autumn to life is film and television actress Lolita Davidovich, and she beautifully portrays someone who has lost their grounding force.
Have no doubt that Cassie will win over the heart of her friend...

Hallmark Christmas movies have a reputation for being cheesy, and the network wouldn’t have it any other way. “I had to rethink the definition of that word,” said Crown Media’s executive vice president of programming Michelle Vicary. “I don’t think it’s a negative; it’s the positivity and the fun. We’re not shy about it and we embrace it … because people want more of it.
These movies all follow a familiar formula: a G-rated world where the stars are familiar faces from soaps and ’90s sitcoms, everyone is nice (villains are just misunderstood), and every rom-com trope imaginable is filtered through over-the-top yuletide cheer. Christmas is love. That means plenty of eggnog recipes, snowy carriage rides, caroling, tree-trimming, fake snowball fights, cookie-baking, ugly sweaters, secret Santas, gingerbread houses, parades, and reindeer-spotting before two lovelorn souls finally unite for one chaste kiss at the end of the movie.
