Matthew Glave plays the role of a young Navy Commander John McGee, who was previously portrayed by Jamey Sheridan.
Sean Murray was played by Charles Tyler Kinder as his younger self in 1994. In 1998, Murray first appeared in JAG (1995) as an Ensign in Innocence (1998), and then in 2000 as Danny Walden in Florida Straits (2000), a semi-recurring character. JAG was the show from which NCIS spun off, so Murray has now played three different characters in this universe. Also Sean Murray step-father is Donald P. Bellisario, the creator of the JAG-NCIS franchise and his biological father is an Admiral Craig Harland Murray.
This is the fifth episode title to include a character's name, following Kill Ari, Sharif Returns, The Penelope Papers, and Tailing Angie. It is also the first time a main character's name has appeared in a title.
Toward the end of the episode when Deliah and Chloe meet, they leave Tim with his childhood computer to go to dinner without him. On the way out Chloe steals a Gameboy in an evidence bag from the evidence cart. It can be seen when they are waiting for and entering the elevator.
