Ending a bit flat

Huge fan since S1 Ep1- but thought the ending was a bit flat- too neat but no real wow factor or shock. Should have kept Almas exit for this episode not the previous one. I did like the Ice Cream van scene - half expecting to see Brady...

Good but could have been so much more...

This final chapter was satisfying but the ending in the novel End of Watch was an extraordinary finale to the Bill Hodges trilogy. I was disappointed that the theme of family and how it handles death was not brought to the forefront of this 10 hour mini-series.

The last several minutes of this episode sure made for some great TV!

Morris attempting to save the burning manuscripts and then trying to read one while he was on fire was one of the best death scenes I've ever laid my eyes upon. Hat tip to the person who came up with that!

And Lou doing "catering" as the Ice Cream Truck Person...pure brilliance. Brady lives.

Having that be the final scene was a great ending to the series - especially considering that the show hasn't been canceled yet. I'd be curious to know how it would have continued, but I feel satisfied with that ending. I will say that I kept wondering if Brady would fully take over Lou and that she would become a killer - I could see that making for an interesting season 4.

This was the very best ending since 6 feet under. Kept you guessing right to the end. Must be a new series surely ? 5 stars.

Can we stand for the guy or the mom? No. They're just so unpleasand!

Half of the episodi was like "i'm gonna kill her" "ok".

Good show until Lou's verdict.

My synopsis of the last 3 eps. 'Ill kill her i swear' 'I swear ill kill her'. ' I will slit her throat, i am not messing around'. I am not playing around anymore, i will kill her unless i get the manuscripts'. Seriously, that is 70% of the dialogue. Morris Bellamy's character was an absolute joke. This season nosedived after the verdict on Lou. And are they gonna end every season with an ice cream man call back ? So lame.

Totally * ending after nice season

The season was quite nice. But this final eposide is a total disaster! Dull, empty, unbelievable. Also daughter line?.. For sentimental housewives? The fire? Kiddo line? Visions? Nothing meaningful, but full of secondary time-fillers. Disappointing to the full. Just not to continie the series?
