- IN PLAIN SIGHT is a riveting whodunit, featuring some of the most disturbing murder cases with the killer hiding in plain sight. The killer can sometimes be featured on TV news reports, interviewed by the media, posts on social media or speaks out in newspaper reports, brazenly showing their face while all the time they had blood on their hands.
- In Plain Sight stars Mary McCormack (Private Parts, The West Wing) as Mary Shannon. Her friends and family think she's just a glorified courier, but she's actually a U.S. Marshal, working for the highly secretive Witness Protection Program.
- This 2018 documentary series consists of 52 half-hour true-crime episodes. It was originally broadcast by the Investigation Discovery channel with the title "In Plain Sight." The series was produced by Frantic Films Production under the alternate name "Killer In Plain Sight." This fast-paced series features cases of murder where the detectives look at all those involved as a suspect, and must filter the lies from the truth in order to crack the case. It is only when the perpetrator is caught that the investigators realize that the guilty men or women were there all along, right before their eyes. It might be the loved one making an emotional appeal, the neighbor who helped in the search, the family friend who gave an interview, while all the time they were hiding their guilt.
