- Beginning of the journey near the Poolbeg Lighthouse (mouth of the Liffey river in Dublin): Sophie meets Michael Byrne who tells her that Dublin has been founded by the Vikings around the year 841: they walk a little through the streets and then have a kayak trip on the Leiffy: they pass under the famous bridge of Samuel Beckett (with a great harp) and also they meet musicians under a bridge.Then they walk again and reach the statue of Molly Malone; Paul, a musician plays with his harmonica the song of Molly Malone, then Michael takes his flute and both play the song of Molly Malone.Later they arrive at the Wall of Fame and they see the pictures of U2,and other Irish artists.They visit also the Library of the Trinity College with its 200.000 books in an unique room and the great harp of an Irish king.Then they go to the neighborhood of Libertines: the Saint Patrick Church (they speak about Saint Patrick's day , a great celebration in Dublin.Finally they enter in the "Bar and Restaurant The Church", where they drink a beer. On the next day Sophie travels to Slane Rock Farm (valley of the Boyne) where she is received by Carina Conyngham who manages an organic farm and yurts for the visitors: they harvest lettuce and spinach and go by bike to the bio shop of the village.Then Sophigoes to the Slane Castle where she is received by Alex Conyngham: the story of the castle (built in 1785) , the concert of U2 in 1981 and then of the Rolling Stones in 1982.On the next day Carina and Sophie visit the Ruins of the Friary church on the hill of Slane and go to the battle field of the Boyne (1690 between the King James II and the King William III): they meet a soldier, a military surgeon and a nurse with the costumes of this period.Then Sophie travels to Courtown: she meets there Melanie Croce in the Seal Rescue Center: Sophie helps feeding the seals and then participate in the release of Toto and Prospero , two seals which discover the sea with its waves.Back to Dublin Sophie pays a visit to Elizabeth O'Kane, a sculptress and painter and sees the bronze portraits.Later Sophie meets Joey Comerford, a choreographer and dance professor, they have a walk and arrive at the Parader of Hallooween in the center of Dublin (a Celtic tradition).On the next day they go the Dance Academy: Sophie sees 5 years old girls dancing Irish Folk dances: she dances also with them and later Joey and Sophie go to "Johnnie Fox's " Pub (established in 1798); Joey and other dancers give dance and sing traditional Irish songs: Sophie is invited to dance with Joey an Irish dance and Joey gives her a diploma.
