Neat Pilot

Made by Sid and Marty Krofft, Here's Irving is a pilot to a show that never got the pass, but was included as a bonus for the 2004 DVD set of H. R. Pufnstuf. Here, Irving, an old lion, tells the story of Barker, a young seal, and how he met a boy named MacGuffy, who plays guitar.

For a pilot, it was very interesting. Done with puppets, the puppets are well done for their time (although some may find them creepy), and the story is a heartwarming story of friendship. While it is only one segment, it is a good look at an idea that would have an influence on Sid and Marty's future works.
