Edge of my seat and wanting more
csquires-698907 June 2020
This suspenseful short film uses the thriller genre to explore the deeply felt trauma experienced by many queer children who are raised by parents unable to accept them for who they are. With a pacing that pulls you in and crescendos into an unexpected climax, this film simply yet effectively conveys the internal experience of a gay man's journey toward letting go of his past and accepting himself.

An iceberg of tension!

I watched this at the Woods Hole Film Festival in 2019. You could feel the tension building and the audience gasped in unison during an especially suspenseful moment. I look forward to both seeing and hearing more from Luke Willis.
