A little over a year ago, Showtime announced that they were ordering a series – then known as Dexter: Origins, now known as Dexter: Original Sin – that would serve as a prequel series to their popular show Dexter, which finished its eight season initial run back in 2013, then recently came back for a new season (called Dexter: New Blood) that appeared to wrap things up for good… for the title character, anyway. Now they’re assembling the cast for Dexter: Original Sin, and The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Christina Milian (Falling Inn Love), James Martinez (Love Victor), Alex Shimizu (The Blacklist), and Reno Wilson (Mike & Molly) have all been cast as characters with names that will be familiar to Dexter fans.
Milian, Martinez, and Shimizu are all playing younger versions of characters that viewers have met before. As The Hollywood Reporter explains, “Milian will portray Maria Laguerta, the role previously portrayed by Lauren Velez.

Adam Demos has garnered a significant fanbase for his role as Brad Simon in the streamer's sexy drama series "Sex/Life." Prior to his steamy role, Demos shared the screen with Christina Milian in Netflix's 2019 film "Falling Inn Love" and had a recurring role in the Lifetime drama series "Unreal." Though his acting career has only just started to blossom, Demos is on track to broaden his career more, and currently stars in the second season of "Sex/Life," which hit Netflix on March 2.
When he isn't in front of the camera, though, the Australian actor maintains a private personal life out of the spotlight. His current romance, however, does get special treatment. Similar to his character in "Sex/Life," Demos is head-over-heels for his costar, Sarah Shahi, who plays his love interest, Billie Connelly, in the series. Netflix romcom queen Christina Milian is finally back with another movie, and Resort to Love (which debuts on July 29) looks like a total delight. Milian stars in the fun flick as Erica, an aspiring pop singer who lands a resident gig at a luxurious island resort in East Africa, not realizing that her ex-fiancé (Jay Pharoah) is planning his wedding there. And though she doesn't appear in the film, there's another big name attached to the film as well: Alicia Keys. Keys served as a producer for Resort to Love, and believe it or not, this isn't the first time she's produced a major film for Netflix.
She might be busy raising her two sons, managing her beauty brand, and releasing chart-topping music, but Keys has a budding career as a film producer as well. The singer extraordinaire's production company, Ak Worldwide, produced the dance comedy Work It starring Sabrina Carpenter.

Exclusive: Rachael Leigh Cook, who is fondly remembered for her role in the classic teen drama, She’s All That, is set to star alongside Damon Wayans Jr. in Love, Guaranteed, the Netflix original film which Cook is also producing. Mark Steven Johnson is directing from source material by Cook. The script is by Elizabeth Hackett and Hilary Galanoy, the screenwriters behind the recently released Netflix rom-com Falling Inn Love.
The story centers on an earnest, hard-working lawyer Susan (Cook) who has taken one too many pro bono cases. To save her small law firm, Susan begrudgingly takes a high-paying, high-profile case from Nick (Wayans Jr.), a charming new client who wants to sue a dating website that guarantees users will find love. But Susan and Nick soon find themselves in the middle of a media storm, and as the case heats up, so do their feelings for each other — which could jeopardize everything.

Nick Cannon is responding to ex Christina Milian's recent relationship confession. Earlier this week, the Falling Inn Love actress sat down for a candid chat with Justin Sylvester for E! News' digital series Just the Sip. During the duo's talk, Milian revealed that she hacked into ex-boyfriend Cannon's phone just before their split in 2005. "When I was dating Nick Cannon, the password somehow worked on the first check and I was right and the next thing you know, I was reading for like a month. I was reading messages," Milian shared. "I was stuck in Romania. I had time. I cannot bust him when I am away. I need to bust him in person so in the meantime, I'm going to get my intel, make sure...

Falling Inn Love is one of the most hyped movies of the fall. Once again Netflix has released original content in order to compete with other more traditional studios. This is a savvy business move from Netflix because it is often cheaper to produce original content than buy the rights to previously existing content. If the company can continue to make films that people want to see, then they will be able to change their business model for the better. Falling Inn Love is a great example of Netflix taking its destiny into its own hands, creating a film that

Falling Inn Love is the latest addition to Netflix's rapidly growing list of original, feel-good romantic comedies. It's as delightful as you would expect, and is a modern take on the tried-and-true formula of a city girl taking on the country life. In short, it has everything our sappy little heart desires.
Starring Christina Milian, Falling Inn Love tells the story of Gabriela Diaz; a city girl, who loses her job and dumps her truly awful boyfriend all in one day. After a brief existential crisis, she spontaneously enters a competition to "win an inn" - aka renovating the dilapidated Bellbird Valley Farm - and wins. Then, in what seems like a single day, she packs up her life in San Francisco to move halfway across the world to a small town in rural New Zealand.

Netflix's upcoming feel-good romance Falling Inn Love has everything you need in a cheesy rom-com: a punny title, a gorgeous setting, a scenario built to make its leads fall in love against all odds, and an adorable trailer. And, luckily, the latter has finally arrived!
In the new footage from the film, directed by Roger Kumble, singer and actress Christina Milian stars as Gabriela, a city girl who spontaneously enters a contest to "win an inn" - aka renovating the dilapidated Bellbird Valley Farm - after a breakup. Lo and behold, she's chosen! Which means she has to travel from her home in San Francisco to New Zealand, where the Bellbird is located. Luckily, with the help of a handsome contractor (Adam Demos), Gabriela fixes up not only the building but also her heart (awwww).
In addition to Milian and Demos, Falling Inn Love stars Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Anna Jullienne,...

They fall in love…at an inn! Of course, there’s more to this Christina Milian-starring rom-com than that: the actress and singer stars as a city […]

You know all those contests that exist in real life that give away entire Bed & Breakfast Inns for people online? No? Oh, that’s probably because they don’t really exist, huh? Well, in the world of the new Netflix film “Falling Inn Love,” a contest-winning woman moves to New Zealand to renovate an inn but finds love instead.
Sure, the premise is a bit weak, but Netflix has been hitting it out of the park recently with its litany of low-to-mid-budget rom-coms.

"I was hoping to talk to you about a proposition." Netflix has debuted the trailer for a romantic comedy titled Falling Inn Love, which is the cheesiest way of hinting that this cliche love story is centered around an inn. Of course it is. From the director of Cruel Intentions and "Suits", Falling Inn Love is about a city girl who surprisingly enters a contest and wins a rustic New Zealand inn. She decides to patch it up and sell it, and in the process meets a hunky man who helps her repair the place. Christina Milian stars as Gabriela, with Adam Demos, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Anna Jullienne, Claire Chitham, Blair Strang, Jonathan Martin, William Walker, Daniel Watterson, and Simone Walker. This looks as cheesy and as cliche as they come, with all the usual romcom tropes, like an exotic location and a bearded bachelor. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster...
