Truth Is Still Hard To Swallow
20 June 2019
That's the issue here; Truth Is Still Hard To Swallow. People will believe what they wish to believe until the day comes when they finally understand that their believing brains are not the most trustworthy things. The universe is under no obligation whatsoever to behave according to our wishes. Beyond the fact that both parents were gullible and slow, simply listening to those who do know manipulative behavior (like, in this case, the FBI Agent) would have been an invaluable aid, whether or not they were fully capable of grasping what was being handed to them. A lesson to us all. Still, this is an outstanding piece of film making.

A Howler
2 April 2001
Perfect camp. Phil Fondacaro is the best little Dracula I've ever seen; the script never takes itself seriously and even the musical score is perfect cheese. If you live outside the United States, you won't "get" this film at all- if you're American, you'll chuckle with understanding from front to back. The writer, director and composer knew exactly what they were doing here. It's too bad they only had a couple of bucks to do it with, but if you put that aside, this flick is a howler.
