Forever Knight (1992–1996)
Top Notch
1 February 2005
I have heard of this series for years, but was never able to view it, Gotta love DVD! The original movie for TV was much slicker and Rick Springfield was decent. However, after several episodes I quietly fell in love with the show and the new cast. Sometimes Hollywood screws up by trying to cut costs and moving across the border. This does not appear to be a a problem with the production quality. I have been a reluctant fan of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, but always felt it was never quite as good as the movie. Angel was not so good, and was a weak spin off (a double negative)! So who is going to come up with the next Night Stalker installment for the networks? Probably not the Networks of the US of A. Viva La Canada.

Ted Bundy (2002)
Brilliantly disturbing....

I have seen almost every serial killer movie ever made. I, also work in the mental health field. Combining this information, I still cannot completely believe what I just watched. Someone in the production was privied to actual mental health knowledge, because this presentation was very realistic. The TV movie dealt with the obsession, but not with the actual disease. This version dealt with the progression of violence and the increasing brazeness of the psychotic mind. Sometimes, it is hard to watch realistic violence, and separate it from every day violence. The director nailed the unstable personality traits to a tee. Ted Bundy was an animal and a human being, waiting for his true love. There never was one and he paid the ultimate price. If, only Clozaril had been available then.

Worse than could be expected...

I knew this was low budget, and off the radar. However, I had no idea any movie could be so inept, boring, and, absolutely useless. Can anyone figure out who was dead and who was alive. Oh, maybe we should just do another rave and shoot up the volume of the music. If the powers that be really want the 18 to 34 year old market, so sad.

Vengeance Unlimited (1998–1999)

Topnotch in every aspect. Probably died due to the time slot. ABC was very resistive to moving this from 7pm on thursdays to any later time slot. The show was of substantive quality, but was not family hour viewing. So, why do we need to look ahead at the latest Nielson ratings for ABC? They are, once again, last, because they have no executives with a pulse. Hopefully, CBS will learn their lesson with HACK!!!!

Harvey Keitel is one of my favorite actors, but even he is laughable in this pedantic (dramedy)? Jane Campion has not made a watchable movie since Sweetie. If anyone is interested in good cult deprogramming movies, Checkout: Ticket to Heaven 1981...or Split Image 1982..
