Roswell (1999–2002)
Intriguing
3 February 2000
I have to agree with other comments. I find myself getting sooo excited to see Roswell every week. I never thought after watching one show I would be so hooked and always thinking about it. I think that Jason brings out this mystery in Max. And Shiri gives Liz this unconditional thing to her. It is very intriguing to watch. Watching the characters on the show I feel like I get butterflies when they all meet up with their "love interest". I am not sure what it is about the show that keeps me interested but I can't wait for the next episode.

Wonderful
6 July 1999
I actually taped this movie 8 years ago and watched it for the first time since I had originally seen it. I loved the movie and thought Molly did a great job doing Alison. Lee and Martin did a good job too. I think that the best line in the whole film is when Alison says that most people think that AIDS is some kind of punishment for either taking drugs and/or sleeping around. That to me could not be a better line. I would not say this is the best movie regarding AIDS but one of the first that really try to deal with it early on......

What happened?
16 June 1999
I really was disappointed at this movie and I watched it twice and could not figure out if it was the writing that was bad or the actors. Since I like most of the actors I went with writing. I could not believe what I watched. It was boring and confusing as well as so Hollywood. I did not have any emotions while watching this movie. Though it was the two Aunts in the film that save me from throwing it in the trash. Their lines were good and they were funny.

Kudos

This movie was by far one of better movies when it came to the east coast eighties. I thought that Courtney Love's slide on to acting was far better than Madonna, (though Madonna has gotten better) I thought that Martha P. and

Janeane G. were the best though. They would be the people just to see it for. They are not the "main" people but sure give you more than one laugh. Go see it, it is worth the money.

Not Bad
23 February 1999
I thought it would be really cheesier than it was. I like the fact that Renee who played Cher did an excellent job and Jay who played Sonny did an interesting job, though I had never thought of who would ever play him. Sonny seemed like an interesting man himself so to rekindle that seemed hard. I thought that the screen version of The Beat Goes On was pretty good. The lip singing was horrible, but unless you actually were the one who sang it, it would be hard to recreate. I especially like the end of the movie - I thought that was pretty classic. It was nice to show some footage of the real Sonny. I thought that it could use some footage of Cher too, but I guess since it was Sonny's book than it's ok. Last but not least for those who missed it, it was something worth watching for the two hours.

Stepmom (1998)
Great!!!
4 January 1999
This is the best film I have seen in a long time. I feel as if the writers of this film did a great job in catching our eyes. The daughter in the film did a great job with coming across with this emotion of anger and confusion. I feel as if showed us all something. The only thing that I did not really like that this story that the families in the movie have money. They aren't the "middle class" family. It seems to be very similar to the movie Beaches yet has it's own classic memories. Tissues should be given as you walk in the door

Sleepless much better
28 December 1998
Well if you do not really want to know one of the bigger ideas of the movie then do not read on. Ok I was having a laugh or two, sort of enjoying the movie when the whole idea of the book stores came up. I felt that we, the public was placed as being stupid or dumb, why may you ask? Well I truly believe in that heart of mine, that if someone closed down my book store that was for 30+ years that I would be sadden of the fact and would not turn around and fall in love with the person who did so. No matter how nice he was on email or in a chat room. I mean people had there lives in her(Ms. Kelly's) book store. Now I know movies are entertainment but they do try to reflect life and I just spoke about this in my speech class a few week earlier about how we should support the small guy. I mean when Meg Ryan's character went into Fox's Super store it broke my heart to know that the person behind the counter did not know about books. On a good note though, I feel if they would have just stuck with the idea of them on the internet and not book stores it would have been much better. Sleepless in Seattle was better.
