All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 (1996)
Not as good as the original
I think that this is a disappointing sequel. I miss a lot of the old characters (King Gator, Anne Marie, etc.), and I don't like it due to the fact that not even half of the original voices are back to do the characters. A lot of personality was lost in Charlie, and the villain Red is not even half as bad as Carface was in the first one. If you're a big ADGTH fan like I am, it's worth seeing just to see how the story is continued, but don't count on it being 5 stars in your book.
All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989)
An entertaining film
I loved All Dogs Go To Heaven ever since the film came out on video in 1990. After almost ten years of watching, I find a more deeper meaning in the film from when I first saw it (I was very young) The heartwarming songs to the emotion-stirring climax, All Dogs Go To Heaven is a wonderful movie for the whole family. I loved all the characters, especially Charlie and Killer, and I was thrilled when the sequel came out (though I was disappointed) You can never in a lifetime make a film such as this one so powerful, funny, and touching as this one.
The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (1998)
Simba's Pride is a Worthy sequel
I must say, after 4 years of waiting for another Lion King movie, our long wait is at an end! I'm a proud owner of Simba's Pride, and I love the movie. But there's only one thing: Disney cut some scenes out that develop the characters Nuka (Andy Dick) and Vitani (Jennifer Lien). I was a bit surprised when Simba and Nala had a female cub named Kiara, whereas most people thought that the cub was a boy at the end of the first film. I loved that idea, because you can't have too many prince-to-king stories, now can we? =) The music is okay, but not as powerful as the Lion King's music. This movie also was a bit of a disappointment, but the good qualities cancel out the flaws (most of the time) I would definitely recommend this film to anyone who is a TLK fan. Let's go for The Lion King 3!!
