Coneheads (1993)
An actual under-rated SNL spin-off
What an under-rated movie. Coneheads actually proves to be one of the funnier SNL sketch spin-offs. Not as humorous as the Wayne's World movies, but a far cry from the dreadful Night at the Rocksbury and other Lorne Micheals productions. Coneheads is full of cameos including Adam Sandler, Jon Lovitz and Tom Arnold and great small parts by David Spade and Chris Farley. The characters are truly likeable and the Conehead family is genuine. The ending partly tarnishes the rest of the movie, possibly a reason for low ratings amongst critics. However, with a majority of past SNL characters, Coneheads lives up to the the original sketches with Dan Akroyd and Jane Curtin. Forget the critics and give Coneheads a second chance.
Ratboy (1986)
By far one of the worst movies ever made
Viewing this website, a majority of user ratings are substantially high. To see if this was correct for all movies I thought I would try and test my theory on other movies I deemed awful. However, these movies still were getting scores of 6 or 7. Then, what I believe to be the worst movie I have ever seen, Ratboy, entered my mind. Finally, a movie with deserved ranking, although a little generous if you ask me. This movie deserves a 1 or a zero, if I could give it that. No one should care for any of the characters, especially the hideous Ratboy himself. Unless you are in a coma, I strongly advise against seeing this movie
There's Something About Mary (1998)
There's Something About Mary makes gutter ball of Kingpin
One of my favorite comedies of all time has sadly been replaced. Kingpin[please see it if you loved TSAM] almost pales in comparison to There's Something About Mary. I have not been to the theatre when an entire packed house laughed together-5 minutes after the joke is over!! The Farrelly brother are true masters of comedy. It is guaranteed that you can't help but see this masterpiece more than once.
