The President's Man (2000 TV Movie)
3/10
Thought I was watching "Walker, Texas Ranger"
19 October 2000
I was channel surfing and came across the stunning Dylan Neal-- shirtless, no less. Immediately I put down the remote and took in the view as I tried to follow what was going on (which I don't think would have been easy even if I'd watched from the beginning). Norris always looks the same, and always plays the same character (like John Wayne did), so his roles are indistinguishable from each other. This was no exception, as he gets to beat up several bad guys with martial arts... again. The most shocking thing I witnessed was the two stars deploying themselves out of the bottom of a stealth fighter. This was depicted by very poorly produced cartoon images emerging from the bottom of the aircraft. First off, I don't know much about parachuting, but I'd have to think that plane couldn't be going less than 200 miles an hour (and probably much more) so I doubt sane people would willingly jump from a hole in the belly of the jet. I believe their bodies would have been smushed against the fuselage in their attempt to propel themselves out with the mere force of gravity. And secondly, the "special effect" was not only laughable-- it positively reeked!

Recommended viewing only if you can't resist the sight of a gorgeous man with a gorgeous body (Neal, not Connors!).
