The Matrix Reloaded (2003)
Great, but only half way through...
If you're about to see this, do yourself a favour and immediately see Matrix Revolutions (the third one). These two are actually one film -- cut in two. The ending of M2 seems strange (and so does M3 seen separately). Which makes all the reviews for the two undeservingly poor. The two films are far better off seen back-to-back. As they where shot. And enjoy! And why not treat yourself with a Matrix frenzy -- watching all three in one go?...
Police Squad! (1982)
In Color!
Extremely funny. More gags in each one of these episodes than in ten years of Friends. And with a good (ie. funny) Nordberg, not the fab-only-casted OJ Simpson in the movies. When will these episodes emerge on DVD?...
The Bachelor (1999)
Old plot, poor acting -- with one exception
The moment you hear the title of this, you'll know the whole story. A frenzy in predictability! R. Zellweger and C. O'Donnell doing an average minor job. The three minutes with Brooke Shields makes it worth the trip. It's the first time I've seen her acting -- meaning acting -- and she does a hell of a job! 1* - for Madame Shields.
Clown of the Jungle (1947)
Two versions!
There are two versions of this -- one broadcasted every Christmas in Scandinavia. The second (original?) is a bit longer with more cartoon violent gags put into it towards the end. Very Tex Avery-ish and highly amusing. Did Disney's "family values" censorship kick in somewhere? Both are great fun, but try to get hold of the extended one.
