One Hell Of A Fun Movie!

I would say this entry in the Star Trek series is one of the best. Next to First Contact and Generations, this is easily the best sequel. The acting is great, the action thrilling, and the effects better than ever! Director Frakes has made a sensational film!

Diane Keaton IS this movie. Without her, it wouldn't have worked so well. Funny and touching, with a bit of sophisication.

Baby Boom is a funny, touching story of motherly responsibilities. Diane Keaton is great as the business women whose life is turned upside down with the arrival of a baby-in-arms.

In Dreams (1999)

A Creep-Out With Style

In Dreams is a very good psychological thriller. Annette Bening and Robert Downey Jr. are excellent. Atmospheric and chilling, this is a very slickly made, intelligent movie. I give it a 7.

Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)

A contemporary work of garbage

In what has been hailed as the worst horror film of the early `80s, I can say it isn't as bad as I thought is was going to be. True, it is pure trash, but enjoyable trash nonetheless. If only those awful sequels didn't follow, except for SNDN 4.

The acting is bad, the story is implausible, but, lo, it is all worth while. A must-miss for anyone who doesn't like horror films, and bad ones. I gave this movie a 5.
