Young Americans (2000)

a new kind of fleva

This year the shows about disfunctional familys had a big comeback,with Fox's "Titus" and "Malcom In The Middle". And this one is one of them,even though the show is not yet a hit nor that it is about family. This show is about teenage life and struggle,you know like every other WB show. In this one there are no teenage vampire slayers or girl that live across the creek.

The story focuses on about 5 teenagers and their struggle to fit in. WILL is a poor boy who gets a scholarship(by cheating) to attend a rich college/university. JAKE is a mysteries Harly driving/computer savy guy who attends the same school as Will.There is a little twist here:later in the 1 episode you find out that he is really a she. HAMILTON is played by a gorgeous blue eyed actor(former model) who befriends Jake and likes her/him maybe more then a friend. Now here is where the family disfunction comes in place: Scout is a rich boy who is Will's roommate.He meets and likes a poor towns girl BELLA. Then they found out from Bellas father that they are brother and sister. I am only praying that the father is a lier. IT MUST BE.

This show is very smart and very good acted the only thing is that they should have called it Gorgeous Americans. The most interesting thing is between Hamilton and Jake(she had fooled me) it interests me what will happen to those 2 characters.This is a trend in WBs shows : the suporting characters are more interesting then the lead ones. I give this show 8 out of 10. Its worth checking out!

In & Out (1997)

a very funny movie

As I said this is a very funny movie. Kevin Kline is very funny, but the person who stole the movie was the actress that plays his mother. Her part is so well written and she is the perfect example of every mother--she is happy for you as long as you get married before she dies. The graduation part of the movie is a little cheezy, it was like a bad copy of the movie Spartacus. But hey,nobody said cheezy is not good. I give this movie 7 out of 10. Because it is really funny.

'Til There Was You (1997)

The idea for this movie --- two people who never met,but actually always been close to meeting,are soulmates --- is great,that is if the script didnt totaly SUCK!!!! I dont know why they call it a comedy ---- its NOT FUNNY. And I did not believe for a minute that those two could be soulmates.In the half of the movie,2minutes that I did not sleep,I wanted to kill The Practice guy,he is so...I dont have a word for it. I give this movie 1 out of 10. Because it seeamd like it would never end.And so boring ....oh my god!!! DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!

The Bone Collector (1999)

Ok when I winished waching this movie I loved it. It kept me at the edge of my seat,it was entertaining and the acting was excellent. But then when I though about it the best thing that I liked was the cemestry between Jolie and Danzel. I wanted for then to live happily ever after. The best thing is that they acted so good that they didnt have to show their fealing by doing it it was in their eyes.

So i give this movie ********* out of **********. The one star is missing because the story could have been more about the killer. Danzel is grate but Jolie is even greater , and if she does not win an Oscar for Girl,Inturrapted I will have to kill somebody. Also this movie is for GUYS and GIRLS.

Mary Reilly (1996)

a twist to a familiar story

Julia Roberts is one of my favorite actors and this fiim is one of the reasons why she is. In this movie she is not a pretty hooker with the heart of gold she is an ordinary woman. Her acting is excellent and so is John Malkovich's. The story is so different because its dealing with the 3rd person experience of the famous tale of dr jekyll and hyde.

I give this movie ******** out of **********. GO AND RENT IT AND YOU'LL SEE WHY.

Scream 3 (2000)

i just had to see it the 1st day

Yes i saw it the 1st day that it came out,yes because I am a fan of the last 2 parts but most importantly because I just had to see it before my brother did. You see before I saw the last two parts I allready knew who the killers were,thanks to my brother. And that made my Scream movie expereance bad. But not this time. I had to guess who the killer(s) is . And it was much better. The first think I did when I came home was telling my brother who did it. Ohhhh it was so good.Now you may think that I am a bad person but if you have an older brother you would be proud of me.

Oh about the movie.... It was great.I give it ********* out of **********.It was funny,scary and it kept me guessing WHO DID IT. I was totaly suprised by the killer(s)'s indentety but I guessed right the relation of the killer. All the actors are great especialy David Arquette who is a total goofball. They just closed the whole story at the end, its so clever. The only problem I had was the haircut that Cox had.Common whats up with that. But overall GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!

Malcolm in the Middle (2000–2006)

puts Simpsons to shame

The 1st time I saw a comercial for this show I thought it was some kidy show. Boy was I wrong. I thought that Simpsons are the worst family on the tv and that not a realy family could be so disgusting. But this one is. In the season premier the mother is shaving dads back in the kichen while he is standing nude and reading newspaper. I was so disgusted by that. And there are all kinds of those jokes. But the mother is most desturbed person I ever saw. She would rather torture her children to find out who burned her dress then go out to dinner with her husband ,who you later find out burned the dress.She walkes tobles in the house and shaves her legs in the car. This is like one of the funniest tv series I ever wached.

I give this tv series ********** out of ********** because its gonna become a classic like THE SIMPSONS.

The Beautician and the Beast (1997)

This is like one of the worst movies I ever wached. The "Nanny" actress, her voice was killing me ,how can somebody have such a voice. Its like somebody was hammering nails in my head when she spoke. Mr Dalton,my 2nd fave James Bond was probably drunk when he read this script becasue .....oh my GOD.

I give this movie ** out of **********. Because: - The title is soooooooooo off and not even funny - The lead actrees is Frane whatever her name is - The story is horrible _ And the only reason I gave it 2 ** is because of Dalton

Grease 2 (1982)

When I 1st saw Grease, the 1st part, I though that was the most cheesy movie ever made. But they had to make a 2nd part and belive me this one is even more cheesy. I think that the director, all the actors and the writters were all drunk during the making this movie because I dont think that any sober person would want to do it. I am even more amazed that Pfeiffer's carear didnt hit bottom after this movie.

I give this movie *** out of **********. This is because the lead actor is cute,but never less a bad actor. And because this movie made me belive in miracles, because if there was no miracles Michelle Pfeiffer would be now a mother of 10 and living on walfer.

Hackers (1995)

Ok this movie is not that good but its not that bad ether. Angelina Jolies acting is excellent but with a lame screept like this one you can see her trying too hard. Jonny Lee Miller is so cute but when you see him act in this movie he cant. This is because he is British and his American acent has flos. the plot is Ok but the whole movie would be better if they fixated more on the romance between Jonny and Jolie.

I give this movie ******* out of **********, there is some cool clothes, and the romance between the 2 leads kept me for watching the whole movie but not even that could help sometimes a very boring dialogs.

The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

it deserved an oscar

This is one of my fave movies because its so beautiful. The acting , the story and the filmmaking. This is how all movies should be made...with heart. The story is so simple but its shaped and made a master piece.

If you have not seen this movie, and you are 15 or 55 years old,I'm telling you that you are missing a lot.

I give it ********** out of ********** because it moved me so much, the way its showing the human nature, the good and the ugly side of it.

Empire Records (1995)

This movie rocks!! Its so funny , and asomly written. Well I think that that is one of the reasons why is so good. Because its a teen movie written for adults.I mean in the sense that when a teen movie is written its written by the the 50 year old fat man who needs money. But this movie is written by some one who is a teen or a person who not too long a go went through it. Its funny, dramatic and most importantly , real.

I give this movie ********* out of **********. This is because its funny , very good actor, and 3 very cute guys, plus its making fun of my moms generation.

Ok this is what happend, I went to see BONE COLLECTOR , but because I am under 18 and the movie is rated R, I couldnt get in. Then instead I went to see this CRAP.

I dont know was it that the movie screen was the size of my 13" tv or was it that that moron working there didnt let me in to watch Bone Collector. Ok i really like Ashley Judd as an actor , but in this movie its like she forgot to act. When she cried me and my friend would start laughing because she looked like an idiot. The plot is interesting but for it to work it would be best to write a book.

I give this movie **** out of **********. the 4 stars is because the popcorn was cheap and very good, if I may say so.

This tv series is so not real like real high school. Hey but who says that we have to watch real tv, we live it every day!!!! The show is funny, kinda dramatic..... ok and a little bit real. Like the science teacher they have, that is like the twin sister of my gym teacher. And the issues are kinda real but dramatized ....like Dawsons Creek.

So in the end I guess its realistic.

Moonlight and Valentino (1995)

I was very suprised by the acting of Jon Bon. I thought he was gonna suck but he is a very good actor at least better then... let say

And Paltrows acting is much better then now that she has that golden boy, I think his name is .........Oscar???

Michael (1996)

This movie is so funny and smart. A unique movie with unique characters. Travolta plays a not so perfect angel, and I think what this movie showes is that who are we to tell how angels look like. Its not like we ever seen one. Watch this movie and your picture of an angel will change.

Plus the actors are great and some of them cute. Just imagen ER 2 times better.

Stigmata (1999)

I dont go church and I dont belive in God but I belive that there is something greater then me and that that force is somewhat effecting my life. But if there is God I think that he is all around us. And that is one of the reasons why I like this movie.

I think that Patricia Arquette does an excellent job in playing a woman without belife. I also like how the picture is dark its like they did something with the film ,I think that they used the same technique as they did in a movie Payback.

Go see this movie because its gonna change your thinking about God , even if you are beliver or not.

Get Real (1999–2000)

I seen this tv show and I found it uplifting and real.

They said that Dawsons Creek is like a teens life and I disagree, because i am a teen and I have teenage friends and it doesnt relate to my life at all. But I think that this show is great and its real.

I also like how the characters talk to you.

This show is smart, funny, interesting and most importantly REAL!!!!

That Old Feeling (1997)

I didnt think that this movie would be any good but i rented it anyway. Boy was I wrong because this movie is so funny especially Bette Midler and Dennis Farrina as a two people who love each other that much that they hate each others guts. And there is more romance, I willl not say between who.... but its so cute.

Dead Man on Campus (1998)

I went to see this movie because of the two very cute leading actors but I left the cinema liking the movie because of Cliff. This movie would not be funny if it wasnt for him. Hes a total maniac and what he does makes him a total jackass but its FUNNY. Overall this movie has an interesting story, 2 cute actors and one funny jackass. And because all of that, this movie is good.

Before Sunrise (1995)

This movie is so good. The acting ,the story, the directing its all excellent.

Its like a movie from the 40s was shoot in the 90s. There are no special effects and monsters. There are these two talented actors acting two people in love.

I never before have seen a movie who talks about life as I see it.

I think that both Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke did an excellent job because there were times when I forgot I was watching a movie.

City of Angels (1998)

This movie touched me so much, with its heart warmth and relation to the every day life even that it is a love story between an angel and human.

I didnt think that Cage could play an angel but he pulled it off so good that I now believe in angels.

This is not one of those movies you know the next scene,its so original.

Can't Buy Me Love (1987)

I am ashamed to admit that I like this movie, hey don't blame I am only human.

I saw this movie like 2 times late night on tv.And I thought that it was like one of those movies nobody went to see but instead it was a big hit and it grossed something like 30 mil.

This is a great movie, a little cheesy. But hey, cheesy movies are the best.

To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)

To kill a mockingbird is one of the few books I read in my young life. And its the first book that I liked better then the movie. The book has more detail and more character change. I guess that is why so many people read books. So if you want to see this movie I suggest to you to read the book first.
