WWE Tough Enough (2001–2015)

Good show for wrestling fans.

I have been watching this show from the start. First I was reluctant to see how the show would go, but after the first show, I was hooked.

With the 13 contestants trying to win a WWF contract and real WWF wrestlers either teaching the contestants or other big name WWF stars stopping in for pep talks and the occasional "reality check" is a very good mix for the show.

For any wrestling fan, I suggest watching this show, because it shows the type of expectations they require their [the WWF's] wrestlers to go through. It is a nice behind the scenes mix of the WWF.

Teaching Mrs. Tingle (1999)

I am sorry. As much as I try I cannot like this movie. I saw it once and I am not going to forgive myself. This could have been something. A movie. I consider this a waste of money. The writing and the acting and the story was not the best, it wasn't even worth a second look. Please avoid this film at all costs. it will haunt you inside.

Overnight Delivery (1998 Video)

This film was one of those that you will watch because there is nothing better on the television and it just draws your attention. I saw this movie during a free Showtime weekend. I enjoyed this film very much. It was amusing, funny, and had a good storyline on how a boyfriend goes from Minnesota to St. Louis to get a hold of a revenge package that he sent her, with the help of a new friend. I suggest that if you have the chance watch this movie. It will end making you happy.

House on Haunted Hill (1999)

I am not much for the scary haunted house movies, but I would have to say that this movie was quite good.

Geoffrey Rush playing Steven Price was very much like that of Vincent Price's character in the original.

The movie had great effects and the occasional spookiness.

This film is excellent from start to finish. This film has a unique characteristic that I have never seen before. It actually shows the darker side of a film that can easily be switched to a more happy-go-lucky feel. The entire cast from any which you look at it can be expressed in three words. Extraordinary, realistic and honest. Brutally honest even. The role of Kevin Spacey's character is straight forward from a lifeless heap to a man who refinds the meaning of family. Annette Benning's character is determined and even realistic. She seems to be the most realistic out of everyone, determined to succeed and be above. The writing and cinematography should be up for awards and if not then the respect will be worth it alone. Go see this film and you will never look at things the same way again.

Stir of Echoes (1999)

This film is excellent. It just had the unfortunate timing of following ‘The Sixth Sense'. Despite many people disagreement this movie was new to me. It had a feel that might have been overdone but not in this manner. The slow decent into madness was slowly building up throughout the movie. Kevin Bacon did a great job of searching for the thing that bugs him. The movie does have some special meanings. They are not climatic but they are scary overall. I suggest you see this movie because you will not be disappointed.

Go (1999)

To me this movie is one of the best that I have seen in a long time. For a reason, that is unknown to me, I love this movie. I have seen it seven time since I got it for DVD [I got it 6 weeks ago]. This movie as a unique style. They way that all the characters tied into each other was great. From Adam and Zack to Todd Gaines and Simon. I can't really explain how much this movie means to me but I can saw it will be on my top ten for the longest time.

Fight Club (1999)

Forget about the first two rules about fight club, I will talk about it. This film was a breath of fresh air for many. The style was unique and gave it a new a definite definition for itself. David Fincher made this film different from all others, this reason alone will make it known. From beginning to end this film was different. To the quick splices in the film or the hidden messages within itself are unique. The acting of insomniac Ed Norton and careless tendencies of Brad Pitt will make this film one of those that you can see over and over. The violence is realistic but string. Many people have been saying the fights will do what ‘Natural Born Killers' did for violence with guns. I suggest for all to see this film. But be warned you won't look at things the same.

Family Guy (1999– )

Just Give It A Chance.

Just Give It A Chance. The show is good. Just take it for what it is worth. yes, sure there are a lot, and I mean a lot, of questionable antics that this show does. But do not compare it to The Simpsons. There is only on, and will always be on of The Simpsons.

But the Family Guy is one of the unique shows that come out during the 98-99 season that does not copy other shows. This will cause a lot of attention for them. And a lot for the wrong reasons. It is like The Simpsons and the controversy it had when it first premiered.

The baby, Stewie, is a character that will be a hit.

The writing is original, controversial, but original.

So please, just give this show a chance. We need more original shows like this on the air.

Suicide Kings (1997)

One of the best movies I have seen in a while.

This movie is excellent. It is well done even on a small budget [compared to others]. This movie does have it all. Violence, done really well and just enough. The dialogue was great. The plot was good. The soundtrack is excellent. I only wish you can buy it. It is one of those movies you will not get sick of. I highly suggest you rent this movie at some point. But do not try to compare it to other movies. Just take it for what it is and you will not be disappointed.

Jawbreaker (1999)

One of those movies that will be forgotten.

This is one of those movies that will be forgotten. I am not trying to be mean here, but this movie was going on the power of the recent teen/death involved buzz.

Jawbreaker is a good movie and all. Using the push of other teen hits with murder in them. But it was a little over the top. This seems to be more of a female movie. It had a lot of female roles.

If you get the chance to see it, go see it. But you really wouldn't be missing much except for a cameo by Marylin Manson.

The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)

Good film.

This film was well done. Unlike some other people, I have not seen the original [as of yet]. So I cannot compare the two. But this movie was great. The casting of Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo was a good idea. And Denis Leary did a good supporting job.

The best part of the film was the heist sequences. In the beginning and the end. I do not want to give it away so I will not say anything about it.

If you have the time and money, go see this movie you will not be disappointed.

Cruel Intentions (1999)

This movie is well done. The plot was different, and the acting was superb. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe do a wonderful job as being as mean and sarcastic as they can be.

The first time director Roger Kumbel did a great job directing the film. The setting and music went well with the story.

The ending was a wonderful twist. I highly suggest that everyone sees this movie. You will not be disappointed.

The King of Queens (1998–2007)

This show is hysterical.

This show is hysterical. For those of you that have never seen the show, you should try to see it once.

Kevin James plays Doug Heffernan, a "UPS" type delivery man. His wife Carrie Heffernan, played Leah Remini, and her father, played by Jerry Stiller, all live in the same house.

Kevin James and Leah Remini try to play there characters straight and the occasional wackiness. But Jerry Stiller is the one who makes the show work. [No offense] His character's wise cracks and put downs are funny.

The story lines of this show is funny.

I hope this shows has a long and successful run.

I know this was a poorly done review, my apologies.

American Pie (1999)

Funnier then Mary....

I though this film was funnier then Something About Mary. The actors and actresses involved are either going to be big or they are already legends in their own right i.e. Eugene Levy.

This is a must see film. It is a low budget film that had a great script. Sure it is raunchy at its finest but thats why it is so great.

Deep Blue Sea (1999)

It is pretty good.

I just came back from seeing this movie from the theater. I thought it was pretty good. Even though it had a relatively small cast, the film held itself together. Many people thought this was a Jaws-type rip-off film, but it was not. Renny Harlin kept it relatively original. The sharks were pretty good and with some of the light comedy it made its way to the end.

Can't Hardly Wait (1998)

This movie is something like National Lampoons Animal House. I know this analogy is weird but hear me out. Like Animal House you can see this movie over and over. I am not much for that but you are easily able to do that.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is great in this film, and Ethan Embry is great as well. This movie is a definite must see for anyone in high school or was in high school. This movie over time should become a classic.

This show is great. It is funny, it as great hosts, and the segments when the hosts try to do different things is the best. Adam Carolla Jimmy Kimmel do a great job. The dancers are hot and 'The Fox' is also great in his own right. I hope this show has a long lasting run on television.

I thought this film was great. It was filmed well in Boston, the actors were great as well. The visual effects were even better. This film is great to see every once in a while and should not be a one time thing to watch.

American Pie (1999)

This film is funny. It takes what high school kids do to the extreme. But I doubt anyone ever tried to do what they did before. More or less with the pie. But I am not to sure if they will copy after. It is a must see, but not with mom and dad. More with a buddy and buddy. But beware you will laugh and feel ashamed at the hyjinx. Great film.

Lake Placid (1999)

To the contrary of people's beliefs, this movie is very funny. What else do you get from the guy who writes "Ally McBeal". People thought this movie was only a horror movie. Nope. It is a very funny film. The little one liners and the jabs at each character make it hysterical. And Betty White is the funniest I have ever seen her in. Even the crocodile graphics are good. Stan Winston and his crew did a great job. I thought this movie was good. I would give it a 7 out of ten.

Arlington Road (1999)

This is the best film of 1999. Hands down.The film is well done. The acting is great. Especially Tim Robbins. The movie goes from normal to paranoia in seconds. Constantly. If there is any other film better then this to come out this year, it better be great. Because this is what this film is. And the twists and turns will leave you speechless at the end. Literally.

This movie is funny. It is great to see funny skits go to the big screen for a longer time. This movie never loses its steam. But there are a few corny and oddball moments. But it makes it through to actually get laughed at. In a mood for a comedy, then this is the one to rent.

This movie was good but not great. One bad thing about it was the film revolved around Ryan Phillippe too much. Sure he is a good actor and all, but not the best. A good thing about the film is Mike Meyers. He did a great job portraying Steve Rubell. He should have gotten more screen time though. That would be the downfall. A good movie to see, but to rent only.

12 Monkeys (1995)

Bruce as a time traveler? Seems pretty unrealistic right? Wrong. He did a great job on this film. Plus with the support of Brad Pitt and Madeleine Stowe puts the film over the top. At times, confusing yes, but a must see. Kudos to all involved.
