The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
Great Movie
This is a great translation from book to movie. It stays very true to the book, give or take a view scenes. Couple words of warning though. First, I suggest you read the book before viewing the movie. There are some important points which are left out, which require knowledge from the book to understand. Also, even though it is a PG-13 movie, the violence is pretty graphic. I will not go into details, but be prepared for a little graphic violence. It does not last long but if you are not comfortable viewing that type of content, you may want to be prepared. Other than that, this is a great movie. Kudos to all the cast and crew for a magnificent job, especially Elijah Wood and Ian Mckellen portray Frodo and Gandalf excellently. Definitely a must see movie.
An Extremely Goofy Movie (2000)
Not as Good as the the other Goofy movie but Definitely Worth Seeing
This movie is one that both kids and adults will enjoy. Kids will laugh at the humor of the jokes and adults will remember the disco era with Goofy's disco moves. Although the movie still has the jokes, it doesn't add up to the laughs you get from the other Goofy movie. But it's still worth having in your Disney collection.
Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957)
It was so bad it was funny
This movie has to be the worst movie I've ever seen. Another great movie by director Ed Wood. Some of the lines in this movie are so bad, they're funny. And I love the way the stand in for Bela Lugosi is a few feet taller than him and holding a cape in front of his face so that no one will know the difference. If you're looking for a good sci-fi movie, look someone where else. But if you want a good laugh, this is the perfect movie for you.
Saving Private Ryan (1998)
An Unforgettable Movie
This is the best movie I've ever seen. Not only because of it's story, but because it was acted very well. They made it look very realistic when they were fighting, and when they weren't fighting. I commend the actors for their great performances. Another thing that is great about this movie is that it never really died at any part and it always kept you wondering what would happen next. Also, I really enjoyed the score written by John Williams. It is, in my opinion, the best score ever written for any movie.
There really isn't anything bad to say about this movie. It was very disappointing to see that this movie didn't win Best Picture, Best Actor, or Best Original Score at the Academy Awards, which, I believe, it deserved. For those who haven't seen it, go rent it. It's definitely worth it.
