Godzilla (1998)
Godzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzila
I fell asleep. I found it so boring it actually helped me take a short nap, which was a lot more healthy. There's no need to use two hours of a poor monster destroying New York and a waste of special effects to make a good movie. I guess it just means to be entertaining, but in my case... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Photographing Fairies (1997)
Is death so bad?
Let yourself be carried by emotions. It's a very sensitive movie about something as "scary" as death. But there's a light of hope. The photographer is actually a very pragmatic person until he discovers there's something else, apart from the world we suffer and the things we see, which hide a better world. There's something after death, a better promise... or so I hope! The ending is just brilliant, with Beethoven's 7th symphony and the promise of a second chance...
G.I. Jane (1997)
Burn it!
Watching this movie was a waste of time. I was tempted to leave in the middle of the movie, but I resisted. I don't know what Ridley Scott intended, but I learned that in the army, women get as stupid as men. They learn to spit, to insult and to fight in combat, and that's also a waste of time (in my opinion). And, anyway, what the hell was that final scene in Lybia? Are they still fighting Gadafi or is it that it's easy for everyone to believe islamic people are always a danger?
