What a great movie. I loved it! I just recently decided to write a review on it. I was never really going to watch it, but got hooked within the first 10 minutes. I thought the acting was superb, the story line was great, and the movie over all freaked me out with all the suspense. if anyone ever finds out when it is coming back on tv, on any channel. please post the info. i really want to see it again. i liked the movie so much, i went out and bought the book. i read the novel and it too was great. excellent story.

If I had to sum up this film in one word it would be, WOW! I thought this film was exceptional in every aspect. The acting was superb. Kevin Spacey is at the top of his game. He just has a way of picking quality films. Helen Hunt does an extraordinary turn as a trying mother of one great child actor, Haley Joel Osment, again worthy of an Oscar nod. The plot was well thought out and well conceived. Never has a movie had such a spiritually profound effect on me. It makes me want to go out and do something really nice. I recommend this film to all ages and not to give anything away, but I was so stunned. By everything that happened. A masterpiece sure to climb the charts.

A Good, super twisty movie that shines

I happened to like this intense twisted movie, despite the poor reviews by some. I thought the plot was original and cleaver. I didn't know that what was going to happen at the end would happen. I'm still trying to figure things out. I liked the characters, especially new comer Lena Heady. I thought they all did an excellent job. I don't feel this film is just another teen flick, it has substance and creativity. I hope people give it a chance because I think it's worth it. I loved it and plan on seeing it again. I give it a B.

This movie was better than I had anticipated. I liked all the action scenes in the movie, and the whole cover-up thing. I really liked the twists and turns too. The audience was able to relate to Luke. Also, newcomer Leslie Bibb was great for her first real air time. I liked the movie, but the ending could have used some retooling. I mean, it was a little too shabby for me. However, I would enjoy watching it again when out on video. I believe the majority of the people would enjoy this original action ride. Good movie, most of the time!

I thought this movie was great, first of all. I absolutely loved it! I saw it on Saturday afternoon, and then on Sunday night. I took all my friends to see it because it was great. they loved it too! The whole audience was commenting on how clever and scary it was. I had my first nightmare in over 4 years because I saw this movie. That's how I know it was good. Also, I thought the plot was well thought out and the acting was great, especially Ali Larter, the girl has talent. This flick stayed on focus and provided me with the necessary information and scare tactics that I was looking for. I recommend this movie to everyone! An A+ definitely. Great idea to put Candyman in there as the coroner. And, by the way, I love Ali's name in the movie, Clear Rivers, I thought that is so cool. I have to give it up to everyone involved with this movie. Great job, and I am so glad I saw it.

I thought this movie was good. I liked the overall effect of creepy people, and keeping them guessing. Angelina Jolie was great. Then again, she usually is. Denzel soared through this movie, but wasn't the greatest. Between Jolie and the very talented Queen Latifah, they brought this chilling movie to a chilling climax. I loved this movie.

great haunted movie, finally!!

This movie has finally given me the hope of the future for haunted house movies. It was scary and great! I loved it, especially how it was able to scare me without using much special effects. The cast was great, especially Famke Janssen and Ali Larter. Geoffrey Rush redeemed himself with this movie. I must say that it out-did "The Haunting" by way more than I would have thought. I love horror movies, and this flick proved to be one great, excellent horror film. Excellent job!
