Chicago (2002)
I saw Chicago in Nov. at the Shubert and this was just as much fun.
These two ladies are HOT - the whole experience was great. I've seen the Broadway stage play in NYC, the Ginger Rogers movie Roxie Hart and now Chicago - all three together are complimentary to each other. I hope that this marks the beginning of the revival of the Musical on the big screen. With the advancements in technology in recent years their potential is so much greater than ever before. Congrats to everyone involved in both the Stage and Theatrical productions.
Here's to Life! (2000)
A very NICE movie - well done and fun. Great for seniors.
If you've been looking for a movie for Mum & Dad, here it is. The theatre audience was 75% seniors and they totally enjoyed it. Great scenic shots of Victoria also.
The Emperor's New Groove (2000)
The most laughs I've had in years.
After watching the trailers for months leading up to the Sneak Preview I can tell you that I wasn't looking forward to it with much enthusiasm. After seeing it Saturday I can't wait to view it again! It was undoubtedly the funniest movie, either live or animated, that I've seen for a long time and believe me, I've seen a lot of movies. A comment by a young girl to her mother upon exiting the theatre says it all - "Mommy, I've never heard you laugh so much".
