Something for Joey (1977)
A touching Football tale
The film was one of the "sentimental tear jerkers" of the late 70's. The story follows the relationship between Penn State football player John Cappelletti and his younger brother Joey who is dying of cancer. The scenes capture the realism of the moment and take you on a trip one would wish no parent or sibling to have to endure. As I have not seen this film lately getting a copy is near impossible as it has been discontinued. The book is still available and is a great read. If you like this film you will like Brian's song (1971) remake (2001) and Love Story (1970)
Lost Souls (2000)
A walk slowly into suspense
A well done film. It does not exceed expectations nor does it fail to entertain, although the ending takes away from the impact. Did the director needed to get the film in under two hours. This film is not for the young nor for the faint of heart. A must see for people who enjoy this genre of film.
Interceptors (1999)
A refreshing action flick
This film is not for those who expect Big Budget actors or great special effects. This is a limited budget well done film that entertains and surprises. Coming into the film with an open mind will go far to the adding fun to the film.
