Seamless: Kidz Rule (1999)
If movies are going to portray fashion designers as junkies they might as well do it right.
All I can say about this movie is what a waste of my time and a loss of 2 dollars out of my wallet for renting this movie. I can imagine this movie would have been good if they had some talent that people heard of but all it did was take a name like Shannon Elizabeth (before she became popular i.e American Pie)and re-sell the movie as if it was a new release even though the movie was made in 1998(wow has it been that long). The movie is about Shannon Elizabeth who is a fashion (that is if you call it fashion)designer for a GEN X grunge thrift boutique shop and gets caught up with a fellow boutique owner who runs raves during it's off hours and has a bunch of L.A homeless kids mooching off of him. Well no less the fact that the movie has no premise or any kind of plot and makes me feel like I was watching another movie based on this kind of story called Where The Day Takes You. The writer of this movie tries to throw in a suspence twist with the character Raven using Shannon Elizabeth's boutique shop to run drugs through it's shipping distributor and having not any idea of what is going on, even I saw this one coming for a mile away. To sum it all up this movie gets a 1 out of a possible 10 just for seeing Shannon Elizabeth getting it on with the character JB in the movie. So save your money and do something productive with it rather then waste it on this movie or just wait for it to come onto cable.
Hellraiser: Inferno (2000)
Had a good plot it was just drawn out too much.
I am a big fan of the Hellraiser series and after the end of the 4th one I thought there were'nt going to be anymore movies made, well to my surprise I was wrong. I was first excited at seeing a new Hellraiser movie after enjoying the previous one but my expectations went in a 180 degree turn after seeing this movie. I wanted to watch the movie thinking it would get better in the process but all it did was drag out a perfectly good senario for the Hellraiser storyline. I was also disappointed that Pin Head was only in the movie for a total of 7 minutes and most of that being towards the very end of the movie. The lead character Joseph played by Greg Shaffier who was also in Clive Barkers Night Breed basiclly played the role of a cop being tormented with his corrupt ways and trying to solve a series of murders that only he can see and predict after he opened up the puzzlebox. The movie had it's moments but in all it just was too dragged out and the whole ending got confusing and ridiculous making me believe the writer for this movie just ran out of ideas and started writing nonsence.
In all I would rate this movie a 3 out of a 10 I hope no more sequels are made like this one was.
Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth (2000)
What a bite off of SCARY MOVIE.
After watching this mockery of a movie on the USA network and because of that movie I have banned that paticular channel off my t.v.
This movie SUCKED.... It had no premise and all it was good for was to see how bad Hollywood has become when it has to bite off from a movie which spoof parodies from other horror/thriller movies. The acting sucked and only the inside puns were what made the movie semi watchable, such as the scene in the movie where a student is walking through the school hallway past the German club classroom and all you hear is the class going "HEIL HEIL HEIL" It is stupid puns like that which made it a 2 out of a possibile 10 in terms of horror spoof movies.
Ohhh and by the way TOM ARNOLD should be put out of his misery for making a movie like this knowing that it is career suicide(Ohhh Wait.....He did the remake of Mchales Navy) to late!!!!!
