Once and Again (1999–2002)

A wonderful family drama !

I just found about this show with the DVD release, and I'm very impressed. The characters and the stories are so real that they could happen to me or some friends of mine. And the actors are doing a wonderful job portraying so real emotions. I was hooked right after having watched the pilot episode. The greatest family show I have ever watched, right along with Everwood and Gilmore Girls that are still on the air on The WB !

The sad thing though, is that only the first season is available on DVD, too bad. I don't understand why Buena Vista canceled the release, it's almost like stopping the release of the movies "Back to the future" after the first opus, there's three. And there are also two more seasons of Once And Again still unreleased, so please Buena Vista or another studio whatever, release the remaining episodes of this Wonderful show !

Dawson's Creek (1998–2003)

NOT SO BAD ACTUALLY !!!

I've already wrote a comment about this show telling that it is nothing but boring. (Cf: "CANCEL THIS SHOW !!!) But after having seen more episodes, i began to understand and feel the soul of this show. Actually, Dawson's Creek wasn't that bad, it's a show about a group of friends dealing with teen problems, it's not the show i am looking forward all the week to watch but it's fine show. I was expecting a soap with greed, bad guy... so logically i was disappointed at first, but little by little i became attached with these young people. The mood of the show is very sentimental, more than in 90210 or Melrose Place and i think that's the strength of it. It's a very emotional show! OK so I changed my mind, who never did it? I don't feel guilty about it and i think that is the problem with shows on TV these days, the networks want high ratings quickly and don't let the shows to settle. People can't become addicted to a show if they only see a couple of episodes.

Too bad that this movie is so unknown

This movie is not unforgettable, but enjoyable. I am very surprised to see that i am the only person to comment it. I saw it last summer when i had nothing to do during one afternoon with my sister, no great actors but a fine story that keep you stuck on the screen until the end. One thing to add: it was very rare during the golden age of hollywood to see a leading actor who was not as handsome as the others. So rent it if you find it, it's worth the viewing!
