Devil (2010)
So Typical
I was looking forward to a good scary movie for Halloween! I was so hoping that this would be his break away GOOD movie! I so think he has potential. I don't know what happens with this guy, he starts out with the best ideas. What happened here?? This was so stereotypical. Some Catholic trying to redeem/exorcise. Judas. Thieves. The whore? The guy trying to save them was sorry. Thinking, Jesus? Sheesh. Cheap religious thing on a CRUTCH. Whatever your religious beliefs are, they should be equally offended. Watch a comedy instead, at least you'll get a laugh. Makes one appreciate BOOKS. Somehow, I just thought all this going on in an elevator had more horror potential. Sad, when we the audience are left gasping for more............imagination.
Cries from the Heart (1994)
Realistic Behavior
My daughter is autistic. I found this movie to be a very real depiction of that type of behavior. Almost painful to watch. Our school and physician felt she would be best served in an institution. I kept her at home and lost my family in the process, but found my daughter as a result. She is now a functional person. 18 years old. Good movie for any one curious as to what one would have to deal with. "Rain Man" is one thing, sort of a stereo type. But, this is well done from the parent/child view point. And, they ARE all individuals with varying degrees of a whole myriad of behaviors.
The Blair Witch Project (1999)
Sooo scary!!
NOT! Our 10 year old even watched it. Scary to think there is a sequel! The only thing great about this movie was the end. In that, it was over, yaaaayyy!!!! The whole film was nothing more than useless people being lost in the woods and whining about it. Oh, my gosh, I am so scared of strange rocks!!!! Good thing they didn't go camping here, where there are raccoons....heart attack city!!!
