Men in Black II (2002)
Good thing it was so short, movie sucked big time...
Yup, this movie is almost as bad as Detonator except that Mr. Brosnan didn't have nearly as large a budget.
Since the first MIB, we might have seen an even more mediocre sequel coming. Alas, dollar signs seem to take precedence over well thought out plots or fleshed out characters. Aside from Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, the other actors aren't given much to work with.
True, the suprise is gone from the first movie but Agent L from the first movie was uncerimoniously shuffled off and replaced by a stock love interest. One wonders how much autonomy Sonnefeld had for this project because this film screams "studio meddling".
One more small complaint, maybe the third movie could be a little longer? MIB II felt somewhat rushed and choppy, never gave enough time for character development and frankly felt like a string of cheap laughs after the first half. If you're going to make a movie and charge an arm and a leg, at least have the decency to throw out a good product.
Death Train (1993)
So awful it spawned a sequel
I can't believe how bad this movie was... I feel really sorry for Patrick Stewart and a little less for Bond man Brosnan. For a B movie, I'd say it was decent but I was expecting so much more. Ironically my favourite scene was when Stewart's character asks one of the techs "how's it going?" and the tech forgets his accent. I laughed so hard because it was the only entertainment i must have gotten from the entire movie.
3000 Miles to Graceland (2001)
This movie sucked...
...big time. It wasn't even worth my time to go see this movie. The action was contrived, the lines were cheesy and that's not even scratching the surface of what was truly an awful movie. Only if you're a die hard Elvis fan you MIGHT be able to stomach this movie.
Clue (1985)
Smart, funny, never a dull moment
This has got to be one of my favourite films, every line is a joke yet manages to weave in a subtle wit without seeming forced. Tim Curry is great, Chris Lloyd is at the top of his game, and Colleen Camp is the perfect french maid. A highly underrated movie.
