Impractical Jokers: John Mayer (2023) Season 10, Episode 4

One of my favorite episodes ever!

John Mayer was great and it was easily one of my favorite episodes ever of this show.

The first part had the VP impersonation bit which was a little slow but Mayer certainly livened it up and it got much better as it went on. The 2nd half of the show had Murr in a club for a live performance of John Mayer. He had to move people from the front to the back and Of course that went awry when Mayer started calling him out for it. It only went downhill from there when he was forced to start moving people again. The punishment had him going to the bathroom a la Leslie Nielsen with a hot mic and talk crap about him. It was hilarious! And then they put a video of him in the bathroom up on the screen.

Lifetime hasn't given a dime to Gabby's family

Lifetime did not have permission to make this movie. They made it anyway. They did not have the rights to Gabby's image. They made it anyway.

They had 30 minutes of ads throughout the premiere and are now selling the movie for $5 online. Yet not a dime has been given to the Gabby Petito Foundation. That's just wrong.

If you want to watch the movie, I'd suggest finding a way that doesn't involve Lifetime getting any money from it (Arrrrr).

They re-enacted Gabby's videos, her pictures, they re-enacted the Moab police stop. It's weird, the actress even wore the same clothes Gabby did. The rest of the story is highly fictionalized. They got pretty much all the fictionalized parts wrong. But I'm not here to correct them, that's up to Gabby's family.

I'm giving it 3 stars because the actress did nail Gabby's voice and mannerisms.

The Order (2019–2020)

It's like The Magicians if that show had bad writing

Big fan of The Magicians and Legacies on CW, both of which are great shows that are similar to this show. This show is just meh. It has the situational humor we see in Magicians but at other times it takes itself too seriously. And there's really no flow from super serious to funny. Legacies is a CW show written by the same people who made The Vampire Diaries. But it still has better writing than this show.
