The Munsters (2022)

Not good
8 October 2022
I made it 45 minutes and had to tap out. I wont point out the bad. The other reviews have done a nice job of that and I would agree with them. They things I did enjoy for what I saw, first I think Zombie's wife actually did a good job playing Lilly. Grandpa munster was also casted well. The choice for Herman killed it for me. Terrible choice and didnt seem to pull off the role. This isn't as bad as Zombies Halloween reboots but it's bad. I also enjoyed the Troma like sets they used. It did have a Class of Nukem High type vibe to the sets. The story tries but fails and nothing in the way of actual comedy. No I'm not just trashing it because it's a reboot. I enjoyed all the reboots of Addams Family so I'm not holding it to the same standard as the classic Munsters series. It's just not a good movie.

Scream (I) (2022)

It really is that good
12 March 2022
Those crappy new Halloween remakes could learn a huge lesson from Scream on how to make a sequel. As an uber fan of the Scream franchise. This was a lot of fun for those of us who remember sitting through the original Scream that rebooted the slasher franchise. All the Scream movies are solid watches as well as this one. This is a well added film to the legacy of Scream. Maybe the people who did this could give us another I Know What You Did last summer because the third one of those movies was absurd trash. 90s horror lives on thanks to Scream 5.

Star Trek: Discovery (2017–2024)

So many plot hole's
3 March 2022
I agree with all the diehard Star Trek fans, this should have been called something else because very little reminds us of Star Trek. Now season 2 was an awesome ride for Trek fans. Season 1 was strange and confusing. Season 3 has been an absolute chore to get through. I also agree with many others, there is not character development. I'm almost done with season 3 and could only tell you a handful of characters names. The show opens up a lot of plot holes if this si supposed to be a short time before Kirk. Obviously non of the discovery's missions were memorable because there's no reference to any of them in the older series. Specially Spocks adopted sister. Were was she when he dies in Wrath of Khan? It's watchable but it's not memorable. You'll have to wade through their social justice sermons and apparently everyone in the future is gay. Put this in the J. J. Abrams universe and maybe it starts to make sense.

If you think this is bad they'll be a third movie
22 January 2022
Wow! This was bad. It's like a silly horror film like Santa's Slay, or Jake Frost, Uncle Sam, Dr. Giggled but remember this was supposed to be a Halloween film. Michael friggin Myers the original Boogeyman. This movie falls flat right from the beginning and continues to get worse as the movie plays on. At this point give the third movie over to Full Moon productions and let Charles Band do it. It might not be any better but it surely couldn't be any worse. Like Troma films meets Halloween franchise and that's not a good thing.

Fun for fans of the original 2
21 November 2021
I went into this not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. Loved the music. This was by no means catching the lightning in the bottle as Chris Columbus put it, but it was a fun blast to the past. Was awesome seeing Buzz Mccallister in this film. Some very funny antics in this movie. What would made this movie better is if Daniel Stern, Joe Pesci and Macaulay Culkin could have been in this film. That would have brought the stars up for this movie. I've always thought to do a Home Alone sequel justice, why not do one that Kevin Mccallister accidentally leaves his kid at home and the sticky bandits fresh out of prison show up to the house it all started now owned by Kevin. This time getting punishment dished out by Kevin's son. Like father like son. Back to this film, I as a mega fan of the original two movies, found this to be a fun watch and enjoyed the nostalgia that was in it.

JP doesn't hold a candle to Alec Baldwin
6 June 2021
The writing for this show is extremely well done. JP casted as boss baby.....eh not my first choice. He's kind of a mark voice actor that would do anything just to get his name out there. One of those guys that when they suck they call it art to try and make their sucking seem less sucky. Long story short the show would have been better off with Alec at the wheel. With the sequel movie coming out it's weird bouncing between a great actor and a mediocre one. Show is still fun to watch personal preferences aside. Folks calling it unrealistic or dumb, show why we should never have free college. It's a friggin kids show. If your looking for some art house series then I'm not sure why you clicked play on a show called Boss Baby. As for unrealistic the reason behind this is that it is fake! It's a tv show. It's not a documentary. Again, your looking for realism in an animated series called Boss Baby. Don't let those putz's put you off. If you enjoyed the movie you'll enjoy the show. Unless your a wannabe critic living in your mom's basement that thinks because they have a Twitter and YouTube account that makes them Ebert and Roeper. Then you probably find fault with this show just to make your mundane life seem less worthless. But for everyone else who enjoys escapism and few fart and poop jokes because you don't take life so seriously, you'll dig this series.

Not a Star Wars rip off!!!!!!
26 April 2021
First, I have to start out with how over used the term Star Wars rip off is thrown around. Not every science fiction film that uses space conflict as it's story plot means it's attempting to rip off Star Wars. This film is an absolute joy for fans of Space 1999, Battlestar Galactica, Dr. Who and Logans Run. If you enjoy Roger Cormans science fiction films Battle Beyond the Stars or Space Raiders, then you will enjoy this movie. If your a fan of Stuart Gordans Robotjox, you will enjoy this movie. If your coming into this thinking it's going to be based off H. G. Wells novel, then you will be disappointed. It is not, it just borrows the title. The acting is on point, the effects for 70s sci fi fans is on point. Yes if you can only enjoy Star Wars then you will be disappointed. But in no way does this film deserve such a poor rating.

Not my first choice- President Trump
24 February 2021
First 2 season's were a lot of fun. Then comes the social justice sermons. After season 2 it's nothing but preach, preach, preach. Thankfully the show is canceled after they put out their last worthless season. I made it halfway through season 4 and had to tap out. You want to watch a likeable female hero I suggest Stargirl. Until they ruin that show.

Hilarious!
31 January 2021
Can we get a region one release of this series? Mill work, Shout, VEI? John Inman was a hilarious actor. Shades of are you being served, this show is a lot of laughs. Raking in my top 5 favorite British comedies. If you love Are you being served and Faulty Towers, I think you will really enjoy this series. The episodes thankfully can be viewed on YouTube.

Helstrom (2020)

One of my favorite Marvel Heros!
25 October 2020
I never thought I'd see the day that Marvel's Son of Satan, Damien Helstrom would see it's stories leap from the comics into cinematography. Granted it doesn't follow the comics verbatim but close enough that it is extremely enjoyable for SOS fans. If you are unfamiliar with this Marvel character but enjoy Dr. Strange, Blade and Ghostrider, give this a try. Very enjoyable for Marvel fans whose heros fight what goes bump in the night, not galactic threats but supernatural threats. Maybe your not a big comic book fan but enjoy horror/supernatural thrillers. Then you will enjoy this. With a story you can leap into without having to have back knowledge on the comics.

Everyone has they're favorites
16 April 2020
This is my favorite of all the Power Rangers shows. It's got a cool sci-fi storyline. The fights any martial arts fan would enjoy. Space Patrol Delta is absolutely amazing. Plus they have the hottest pink ranger of any of the Power Rangers shows.
